Ok, this is officially my new favorite channel! You reel me in with DCI transcriptions and then you introduced me to an old school line I didn't even know existed. BluCru!!!

Can I ask why the music is written like this? I’ve never seen it in this manner before

Toxiq this is called Swiss notation. It's used by many international groups as well as the Fife and drum community, as a universal music language (as opposed to what we're used to which is American style.) It's really cool to learn, top line is right hand, bottom line left hand. Flams are the notes with lines at the top. Let me know if you have more questions!

Sam Shoemaker was not our best rep with this audio. We've had much cleaner. Check out some other vids of us and let me know your thoughts! We try to get the ticks out but it's hard when we only get together once or twice a month hahaha

@@snaredrums7 I was being sarcastic, honestly I had just never even realized you could play rope drums cleanly. Also did you literally center snare for cadets for two years and then join this group?? That's awesome man no wonder y'all are clean

Sam Shoemaker haha yeah marched Cadets for 3 years but ive been in Fife and drum since I was 8 years old. It's where I really learned how to drum. You should join!
