I Like How Conker is Wearing his Original Clothes in N64 Version While The XBOX Remake He's Wears Soldier Outfit

I love how on the N64 version, the Tediz are just literal plushies with a gun. To me, this contrast of something originally cute and harmless holding a war weapon is much more effective in terms of memorable design than their Xbox versions counterparts.

@@TheUltimateRare as someone who has never played a conker game in his life (but has watched walkthroughs of other people playing it), I choose the live and reloaded counterpart. The tediz from the n64 feel naked. in my opinion, I like the tediz with more detail and not having those pitch black eyes and those sick wehrmacht/waffen ss loadouts they're rockin'.

i totally agree, this game is not suppose to take serious, in fact, something adorable but dangerous like the n64 teddis are much funny than the xbox edgy teddys, according to the sense of humor, the n64 is way better

If the general dies then there will be no one to organized the army actions so its very important they don't get blown up or killed cause trust me you definitely don't want a case of soldiers panicking from enemy attacks and not only that their is no back up plan or someone to rally them. Two not all generals spend all their days in a fancy house and drink tea all day. They have something called hq or command post where they along with some of their officers formulate strategies, deal with logistics, intelligence gathering etc. They don't seat around doing nothing. As for those that will lead the soldiers in front line, that will fall to junior officers like lieutenants , colonels, lieutenants colonels, captains or brigadier generals, they handle that. But as for the commander of the front. No you dont put him or her in harm's way

For sure. I think that speech is a reference to a similar speech in Apocalypse Now! Both really good. Would reccomend the movie for a more in depth take (without the nazi teddy bears.)

The Tediz design in the N64 seem like they're made with limmitatons in mind, the xbox ones were pretty well designed but dont look as menacing, if they were to ever touch up on this game again a good in between design would be appreciated.

12:53 agreed, the game doesn't really work as well if it's just "cute animal mascot in fucked up situations". conker really only worked because of the context it existed in; being released on the family friendly mascot collectathon console by the kings of the family friendly mascot collectathon genre. I also prefer the tediz looking like teddybears someone surgically put life into instead of just actual bears.

The graphics are great but the animation is all wrong the models move without moving there limbs it's like there robitic

Better resolution and better object modeling. But the textures in N¨4 have more relief and depth. Nothing beats the original. I still prefer the effects of Light and Remains generated by N64, hardware effects have always been better on Nintendo consoles. Sony And Microsfot, realistic textures have always been bad in physics.

Alright, n64 Conker... Sucks, I'm sorry, the writing is THE BEST. But the game has so many boring fetch quests and dumb parts that make me wanna tear my hair off. The part where you put sweet corn in the crap pile had you putting 6 PIECES of corn in the pile, and CLR cuts this down to three. Remember that retarted part in Rock Solid where you had to pee on the rocks, it's annoying because it feels like your pee doesn't go far enough to get the rocks in the hole. In CLR, you can strafe and move while you pee, and the second hit in rock solid got dropped down to one. In mugged, the annoying dinosaurs have a much more forgiving hitbox in CLR. In CLR, Conker gets a Van Helsing outfit for the spooky chapter, which I think is very fitting for the chapter. And the shooting Controls, Oh my Gosh alright In CBFD, the shooting controls suck, I know it's because of the limited hardware and stuff, but damn is the part annoying, in the first part of the shooting, you're platforming and shooting at the Tediz, So you're already meshing two different gameplays together. AND THE BLOODY PART WHERE YOU HAVE TO USE A BAZOOKA TO GET COVER WHILE THE TEDIZ TRY TO KILL YOU. This, part.. Okay so you have to take cover so the Tediz won't shoot at you. Cool, but the problem is, the Tediz Block YOUR cover too and with the awkward shooting controls this part has to be the WORST area in the whole entire game.. But whatever, it's just my opinion you can like n64 conker all ya want.

Just look at the cutscene in 9:51, and how it ruins the original intention of the developers for you to not see the tedyz, until you are face to face to them during gameplay, so they can jump on you. There's much more tension when you don't see the enemy, but know that they're there. The xbox version is a mess, and this part just shows how it doesn't even try to respect the original art style and ideas.
