What kind of resin should i test next?

Would love to see an Elegoo resin lineup test. Standard, Standard 2.0, Clear (any color I suppose), Standard 8K. Would be a sweet video. Great content. Edit: would be cool to add each resin you test to a "Master List" or something like that, maybe a Google Sheet or something.

Could you test Phrozon 8k resin? i have bed adhesion problems and i think for the premium you pay, this shouldn't happen. I know my bed is level because with my BASF ultracur resins, it works very good and adhesion is extremly good. thank you ahead J

Could be down to more first layer exposure and sanding the buildplate always helps to get the grip. The tenacious was a b*tch to get off while the fast is easy to remove. Thanks for the suggestion

@@NoizieWorks i tested. 30,60 and 90s first layer exposure, but didnt work. Then i sanded the build plate with 400grid sandpaper to give it more grip-didnt really work either. Sadly i can not find where to buy this magnetic build plate from that kickstarter you were talking about and prob. buy the wham bam flex plate. Btw i upgraded my printer with the z wobble upgrade and it works better now. Maybe you could make a video on how you zero in on to the perfect resin settings when you buy a new resin?

If you contact them on facebook magflexplate will hook you up or like you mention get the XTR. In the video of the flexplate (the last one) i show how i level the plate so maybe give that a try. There is a timeline on the vid. If you sanded it sound like it's still to far away from the fep.

Brilliant test video really enjoyed that! And absolutely shocked at the Sunlu as I have been looking in to cheaper resins as paying like 36.99 for elegoo and anycubic whare as sunlu Like ABS is 23 bucks heck of a price drop but I think its going to be a new resin for me! Nice comparison and testing. Do you have a video showing the testing rigs that you made? If not, perhaps you should make one. Also, perhaps keeping a tabulation of the testing results, both the qualitative and quantitative numbers and keep adding as you test more resins and / or filaments. There are not alot of testing data available with real results like this. Keep it up!

Thanks! Still new to this but i plan to do better on the charts and i will look into making a excel public with all the results so it's handy for buyers to figure out what to buy at what pricepoint. Thanks for the suggestion!
Great test! Sunlu is a suprise for me. I considered buying this one, but the current market price 24 USD was a warning light for me. After you test i will order one and try it out. For next test Maybe Siraya Tech Fast Grey and Elegoo ABS LIke 2.0?

Thanks dude! It really is a rats nest with all those different resins/brands vs claims. I still hate my decision that i bought a boatload of eco resin from anycubic because of the price😅. Yes the sunlu did great in the testing. Siraya tech actualy wanted to work together after this video. They are sending blu-tough and their tenacious to test but maybe i'm going to buy a fast type resin just because i'm curious myself 🙂
Sir, you may have just solved an issue I have been having. I use anycubic eco resin, and ever since I got my Jupiter all my models rip off the supports. O added more supports, and MORE supports, same issue. I'm at the point where I'm using all heavy supports for all models and everywhere, it's the only solution I found. This video makes me think I just need to change resin and I can go back to normal and smaller supports. The issue has been my resin all along.
@NoizieWorks
Жыл бұрын
Yeah it's pretty weak, you can print it with medium supports but you will have to up the exposure to 3.5 ish and lower lift to 35. That seems to work for me but it still can come loose so better off switching resins. I have a siraya tech line up coming up next.
you should check out the ESun hard-tough resin, im interested to see how it performs, i got some and its definitely better than anything else i've gotten.

yeah the elegoo plant based resin is also very awful so it aligns with the Eco sucking.
I like this comparison, can you test the siraya tech blu? they avvertise higher rigidity and resistance in tension than the conjure rigid, but the conjure rigid have higher impact resistance... this is interesting because they advertise the same elongation at brake, but the better proprieties of siraya's blu suggest to me that this resin should have better impact resistance

@@NoizieWorks Thanks for the response. Have you had any experience with high temperature resins? I’ve heard some people used them for 3D printing injection molds, which is insane. I’d like to know if one could prototype bakewares and such using SLA

@@ethaneveraldo no problem, all these high temp resins are sacrificial and food safety on any resin print is non existant as far is i know. What you can do is print, mould it and poor silicone in to it. Very expensive so 😅

Aaah ok i got it 🙂 on all the resins there was noticible degredation on the resin bolt test to a certain point it stabilised but i will have to do other testing to give you a closing answer on that one. Hi! Yes heating it up with a heatgun and put some weight on it
I have already been tormented with this resin, out of 7 times of printing, more than once it failed. The first layers are printed normally, but as the supports begin to print, the baking comes off, the first layers remain on the plate and the supports on the film. Tried exposure from 2 to 5 seconds. He applied a special composition to the film. Nothing helps. I think this resin is shit. There are no unsolvable problems with other resins. Printer Sonic Mighty 8k.
