Conjoined Sisters Born As One, Now Thriving As Two | BORN DIFFERENT
SUBSCRIBE to Truly: bit.ly/Oc61Hj
TWIN sisters who once shared a body are now thriving after being separated. Erika and Eva Sandoval, 6, are formerly conjoined twins from California. When they were born, they were connected from the bottom rib cage to the pelvis, sharing a third leg. With only a 30% chance of survival, Aida, the girls’ mum, decided the risk of delivering the twins worth it.

I’m a twin and I like dressing the same as my sister (sometimes when we were younger we didn’t) though I don’t really like it when people call us “clones” of each other ,and I find it a bit offensive, when we dress the same because we still gave our own individual personalities, still you make a fair point it shows that they are treated more like individuals even better.

Very inspiring. As a parent of a severely brain damaged child, I can sincerely understand why some people might make the decision to terminate a pregnancy or to accept their disabilities. These girls are lovely and their Mom is special.

Saudi Arabia is one of the best places in the world to go to for separation of conjoined twins. They did many of these operations over the past two decades for children from all over the world and, as far as I know, they do it for free for poor people. For parents who have conjoined twin and willing to separate them, I suggest contacting the Saudi embassy in their home country.

I'm a twin myself and was dressed identically to my twin since birth until before we headed into middle school. My aunt begged my mom to stop dressing us the same as she could never tell us apart, and she also wanted us to grow into our own identities (I'm super grateful for this). When I reached high school, I asked my mom about this, and she said she thought it was cute, so that's definitely one reason I think parents dress twins alike. The other reason I've heard is that it saves on money, but I'm not so sure thinking about it now why it would save more money than buying another set of clothing.

Now, when I go shopping for clothes, I don't know what to choose for myself. Maybe if I'd been given the option to grow into my own identity earlier, I wouldn't have this problem, so, agree to disagree.

They are so strong! I wish I had that much confidence! Thanks for the video 😊
Omg when she said that she want to play basketball just like Kobe Bryant🥺 I wanna cry💔
So happy work out they did the right thing waiting because I just seen one of one clips lived but had years of rehabilitation and the other died. They beautiful girls
The ironic thing is... We are All different. The fact that they were born the way they were doesn't limit them from living a beautiful and productive life. Many have all their limbs and live as if very handicapped. They will be fine because of the Mom they have and love and confidence they are shown and have within
Yes they're born different but that doesn't make them any less human. They're unique
Amazing. Must have been such a hard decision for the parents, this woman is an amazing mom!
They are blessed to have a great mom❣️
This is why my parents tell telling to be gratefully i've given a 'normal' body. (All limbs) and i do feel very grateful. It must it hard for them growing up, my hearts with them and their parents.
This the most Adorable set of Twins I’ve ever seen
