Easwer Suneetha b^2 - 4ac = 0 - 4×1×2=-8 which is less than zero Means given quadratic equation is Ellipse.

How come answer for 2nd ques is a ellipse?? There is no term with xy in it.!

@@deekshasingh in first one there is no xy mean coefficient of xy is 0 and also there is no y^2 mean coefficient of y^2 is 0 so 0-4*6*0=0 , hence this is parabola
