Florida State TE basically pulled a Jim Marshall without a play being run. The Iowa guy got so lucky he was out of bounds, otherwise his gaffe would’ve been remembered even more kind of like how Jimmy Garoppolo saved himself from a pick 6 by pulling a Dan Orlovsky instead. That Ohio kickoff reminds me of when I played Madden 25 (really Madden 14 but they did a 25-year anniversary special) where I was on the third and final year of the Tennessee Titans franchise (before making them the Houston Oilers again) and right after the Patriots scored late in the game (this was also in the AFC Championship game) they did a squib kick which bounced off one of the Titans’ helmets, they got the ball and I didn’t have enough timeouts to stop the clock. As a Florida fan, that play of two guys blocking each other has pretty much summed up how their season went that year and how mostly irrelevant they’ve been since Urban Meyer left.
