    I really love your videos. I feel more relaxed when trying different things and songs. This one about the larynx is very interesting. I want my body to be more relaxed when I sing so I don’t squeeze muscles in my neck. Thanks again.

    That was very helpful. I sometimes do vocal exercises on autopilot so to speak. You mentioned awareness…I feel like I have potential for power but my lower abdominals feel loose and I feel some kind of anxious energy around my chest and throat when singing in the lower range. I do take medication and have other health issues..hmmm. I need to be more aware. Would a powerful laugh counter these things? That energy just seems to linger hmmmm

    Hi Edward, thank you for your question :) Sure, laugh can be really powerful and healthy. :)) Have you ever tried to practice with a straw? Straw exercises can teach us how good belly support feels :)) But what I think is also important is just being ok with the voice the way it is at this moment. Exploring the authentic sound even if it is weak on low notes. Exploring, feeling and being with it. Start to think about singing as joy and not as trying to perform and be perfect. Sing for fun and let me know how it goes. :))
