Both, Original has the classic sonic look which i like, But reanimated has Sonic becoming Super Sonic, I can't decide which is better

the original is more focused on classic sonic (like sonic exe in canon) while the remake is focused on modern sonic. both are good in their own ways

Both have good aspects to them The original feels more desperate, since he never goes super sonic The remaster actually has Sonic stand up to Sonic.exe with super sonic

honestly the reanimated sprites arent expressive. They just feel stiff with a few hand movements and stuff. The only one I like is super sonic, and his idle is just one image.

The reanimated one is "stay away from me" while the original is "what should I do?"

I love how you can see the panic in Sonic's eyes,this is an amazing reanimation,I can see where improvements can be done but I'm totally satisfied with this💖💖👏👏👏

I like how people who say that the movement is "stiff" or "goofy" don't realize that this is a early access build....

The remaster, to me personally, feels a little more aesthetically pleasing than the last one. The only complaint I have, is that they feel too stiff, especially Super Sonic. Hopefully that will be fixed in the future.

The reanimated version is good, but the body parts doesn't move much. The original is good, more movement, but the reanimated one has a better art style. Both are really well made!

The reanimated one feels more stiff to me. It also lacks little touches that I liked about the original like the head bobbing that they do in their idle animations. It’s not fnf without head bobs. I like how sonic.exe looks in the reanimated one. The way he reaches his hand out looks much more menacing. Super Sonic was a nice touch too.

I honestly think the original sprites are much better than the reanimated one just due to the fact but it looks better and fits the theme. The original being based on classic sonic is a way better idea than the modern one.

I respect your opinion, but I personally prefer the reanimated one, it gives sonic a more confident look, considering that's a big part of his personality, Classic and Modern have.

They made Super Sonic Appear! Holy shit! The new one looks good, But you cant change the OG!

in the original, at some point classic sonic will start to run faster, meanwhile in the remake turns sonic into super sonic. a real badass move man. and thanks for making sonic exe look scarier for the remake btw.

I DID NOT EXPECT THE SUPER TRANSFORMATION TO HAPPEN

i like them both for different reasons. the original since the 2 sonics move more, its the classics, and normal sonic gets more confident but tired halfway through. the remake for at some point, sonic has enough and uses the chaos emeralds to possibly outrun but also full on confront sonic.exe, and is just SUPER confident (no pun intended) and doesn't break a sweat

I really love the idea of a modern exe.

for those who dont know confronting yourself was created before fnf existed it was an au called differentopic from an undertale alternate universe, which explains why there are megalovania tunes in the song

Sonic.exe should be more "dynamic" on his animations but other than that good work

Mine is personally reanimated cause it's so cool how sonic turns into super sonic like sonic the hedgehog 2 (instead of running faster) and the graphics are so much more hd and 4k

The remake-- BEAUTIFUL. It loops properly, I like the way ho Sonic goes Super Sonic on Sonic.Exe! However, it would have been been better if super sonic said "You're too slow!" and left sonid.exe stranded on his world.

I think a cool mechanic with this song is you have to collect the chaos emeralds while singing. If you don't the ending will change.

I like the little style in the original but I also really like the super sonic transformation in Reanimated

I really like the Reanimated sprites but there's one thing that I don't get. Where do the Chaos Emeralds even come from, they just pop up out of no-where. What would've been more 'confidence boosting' to me is Sonic starting to run backwards like in Sonic X, showing he's no longer afraid to look death in the eyes.

If sonic run backwards then there will be a fight,sonic is just "playing"with sonic.exe like sonic.exe did with sonic's friends and super sonic is faster than sonic.exe.

@@thienominh9397 Sonic shouldn't always have to rely on his super form to confront powerful foes, if anything he can do that without it (Sonic Forces). And the point that Super Sonic is faster is irrelevant, EXE would still be able to catch him when his rings run out. Since EXE can also teleport and appear out of no-where, He'd still catch Sonic even in his Super form. Bringing up these points, EXE is playing with Sonic, like he did Tails, Knuckles & Robotnik, As with the powers I have just brought up that Sonic.EXE has.

They should make that when you miss you slow down, and make you go faster when you hit notes in the mod.

Tbh I like the original it gives the sense that he’s kinda inescapable and ends with no clarification if sonic escaped him or not. The remake on the other hand you kind feel like there on equal terms like he could easily escape if he wanted to

If we think if the mod version of confronting yourself escaped or not. Then if it follows the og confronting yourself (not the mod version) then Sonic most likely failed to escape.

The remastered animations, especially sonic exe’s and super Sonic’s, are a little bit static compared to the original. I’ve kinda been getting used to the new one though, and tbh I kinda like the design more than the OG.
