I love listening to Tech talk. He is one of the few individuals who shares my perspectives and talks about them in a way that makes me think "i could not have said it better." That is a real talent.. and to think that he doesn't use a script, doesn't need time to put his thoughts together for a response.. he speaks without fear from the heart on what he has observed, experienced, and read about with no bs or needless controversy thrown into the mix. Who else does that?

2:24 Puerto Ricans are not Taino Indians. You have many PRs that are mixed with taino, but that's not everybody, and the people that are mixed with Taino are still predominantly European. Roberto Clemente is a black Puerto Rican not a taino Indian, Sandra Zaiter is a Puerto Rican of Lebanese descent not a Taino Indian, etc. Stop trying to make Puerto Rico and especially a huge region like Latin American seem homogeneous as if the USA is the only country where diversity exists.

***** most PRs are not part Taino, unless you want to be consistent and claim that Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Warren are part native American. No, Latin American is not racially distinct from the USA. It's culturally distinct since the USA is Anglo and the countries in Latin America are well Latin, and Latin America does not have the most racially mixed pop in the world. If you want to take into account admixture, then you have to take into account admixture of Americans. Most White Americans are mixed with black and Native American, and most black Americans are mixed with European and NA. If we take into account mixture the USA would also be predominantly mixed, but that does not take away self-identification and the fact that white American is a privileged group.

Stanley Dougé Ok but the comment I responded to said haitians speak french....that alluded to meaning that that is the language of the haitian people when in fact our national language is creole and french is a learned language that barely has any real significance in day to day haitian life both in and out of haiti....btw barely nobody speaks french in haiti for prestige anymore everybody wants to learn english not french. Again those african countries with french as an official language are not "francaphones" if their speaking swahili in day to day life with french only coming up in school and neither is haiti.

Stanley Dougé this might be a little late but oui je parle français...je parle pas la langue très bien mais en tout cas je parle...you're one of those haitians who love to claim french as if it means anything to haitian people other than being a useless language that people are being forced to learn due to a brutal colonial history built on the backs of hundreds of thousands of enslaved africans....French is NOT an important language for haitians period wether it be the diaspora or the peolple in haiti proper ....whenever I'm in haiti everyone is eager to show off their english skills while french is just something they have to learn at school for no good reason. French is not spoken by anyone who has an important international agenda....English is what's used for that. If you wanna identify the first independent creole country on planet earth as francaphone or pretend that french means something to haitians other than the pathetic elite who claw at anything to seperate themselves from the masses then fine....BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT FRENCH IS NOT AN IMPORTANT LANGUAGE FOR THE MAJORITY HAITIANS IN AND OUTSIDE OF HAITI.
