I played since PS1 days with DB Final Bout but I never overhyped any DB game I played and never trapped in the past; once I got a PS3 my BT3 copy stayed there and I moved on to Burst Limit, Raging Blast, etc and then PS4 with XV, FighterZ, etc and so on and enjoy them as well. It's just stupid and from a real loser to keep dreaming about the past, day after day.

See, I personally am with the guy on the "obscure characters" thing, but my argument is different. I don't want them for the characters themselves, but for the MOMENTS that could be recreated. If I had Shugesh and Fasha and dead bardock homie #3 and #4, I'd make the FUCK out of that offscreen moment where Dodoria killed them all. Give me every single nigga in the ToP, and I'm gonna MAKE every fight that happened, Universe 7 being involved or not. Only point he has is them removing the old characters. They simply don't fit in the base roster. Hopefully at least they get sold as DLC but there is no guarantee they will. The only guarantee is that they won't be in the base roster due to them adding Super characters. These characters have been fleshed out with unique abilities and basic attacks, etc in games like DBL....Saying people don't care or shouldn't care about them goes against being a Dragon Ball fan. So his point still stands, if this is an upgrade, but they remove old characters (not talking about clones like frieza soldier copies), in ends up being a downgrade then. Also, the destruction is indeed one of the big selling points, its highlighted in their site as such. What he meant about the destruction is one like in Battle Field 1, where when something blows up in the ground, the terrain literally changes shape accordingly. Not a texture change, an object destruction or a layer, but the terrain literally changing shape based on the explosion's. I already put my money down because I'm convinced this game is going to be something special. If the developers were willing to put in this much time and lovingly recreate those Tenkaichi mechanics from scratch, that shows me some real passion for the project. Is this going to be a masterpiece that will consume my life the way Baldur's Gate 3 did last year? Probably not. But I'm pretty confident saying this is going to be one of the greats, especially among DragonBall games.

When it comes down to server connection and stability, the guy is right. I aim to play online tournaments, so server connection and stability are a must. So far, there is no DB game with decent and stable servers. I love the battle system and I love the graphics, but my only fear is that servers aren't stable enough.

I’ve watched a bunch of KZreadrs who’ve already got to play the game, the consciousness agreement seems to be that the game is great.

For example they could create Goku and Vegeta character models and have the option/animation for them to use Super Saiyan 1-SSGSS and Goku has KK-KKX20 and Vegeta having Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Evolved and Ultra Instinct /ULTRA EGO

He's right technically. They really dont't need to cut the roster, but they will and fill the gaps with subpar Super characters. Those old characters were very memorable and fun to fight. Arale's kit was pretty crazy. As far as GAMEPLAY, it looks close enough with some new changes and that's all I really WANT from a new Tenkaichi game.
