You should leave the anime, not because it may affect your personality, but because it contains taboos that do not satisfy the Lord of the Worlds, who is the Lord of all months, not just Ramadan. There are three taboos spread in anime: First, false beliefs, which are the worst thing about it, and the important people say that we do not believe or be influenced, because we are not children, but it is not permissible to attend evil, whether you believe it or not, and blasphemy is the greatest of them. The Almighty said (And it has already come down to you in the Book [i.e., the Qur’ān] that when you hear the verses of Allāh [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them.[226] Indeed, Allāh will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together). and the Almighty said (And when you see those who engage in [offensive] discourse[316] concerning Our verses, then turn away from them until they enter into another conversation. And if Satan should cause you to forget, then do not remain after the reminder with the wrongdoing people ). If you are not satisfied to see what detracts from the Messenger of God and there is no Muslim who sees what detracts from the Prophet and says (for fun only), then it is better that you are not fine to see what detracts from God with unbelief and polytheism, for he is never satisfied since he is the Mighty and the excuse for pleasure is other than Acceptable (same as angels) Second: Nudity There are two types here. First, anime has clips only, and people say I will skip it and get rid of it, but as I said, it is not permissible to attend where abominations are, and also anime is not a necessity and it can be avoided. You are responsible for what you see and not for you, not the first and second look, and before you did a skip, you saw the shot in the first place. Allah says(And do not pursue[745] that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned) As for the second type, there are characters who are dressed inappropriately, and this is worse because the character appears more and it is not even possible to skip, which is not useful in the first place with the clips. Third and finally, up to this point, you might say that not all anime are sports anime that have nothing in them (most of them). The important thing here is to tell you the third taboo, which is the music in each episode of each anime. The starting tag is skipped, but there is music combined with dialogue and fighting. And I know that leaving the guilt is straightforward, may God bless you

My suggestion is not to judge him for his "blindness", as it is not his fault alone. There are so many factors that can lead him to "blindness" - upbringing, society, geographical birthplace, beliefs of teachers, friends and family etc. But it is HIS CHOICE to seek answers and he is trying to do that. So it may be acceptable to pity him for as long as he has not found an answer, but don't blindly question what led to the blindness... i.e. (respectfully) before you pose such questions, first think & look around you, at the world etc. because the answer to your question is obvious.

Can't imagine being that guy... I get a bit nervous thinking about the uncertainty of what the future holds for me. This guy is uncertain about the future, present, past and even of himself.

The way this person giving dawah is amazing, he is very clear in his thoughts, so patient with everyone he talks to. I have one suggestion though. If possible the person you are talking to also should be given a microphone as in some of the vedeos the other persons voice is not clear and its difficult to understand what their questions are. May allah reward you here and hereafter

I always think whenever someone starts acting like "nothing is certain", do they think the same way if for example their mom calls them on the phone to tell them she got beaten on the street? Do they start questioning "what do you mean by "beat"", "is my phone even real?" , "is my mom really my mom?". Or do they immediately say "ok where are you im coming". Why dont they have the same attitude when comfronted by logic? Indeed the further they run away from Allah, the further these people run away from reality.

You cannot seek truth or even look at it if you can not humble yourself. For him at this point of time its not even about being certain or not its a matter of pride even if he want to agree with Muhammad he can't ! May Allah guide us and make us humble ❤

Just would like to point out that in conversation the easiest way to get to this point you were trying to establish is: The first word of the shahada is 'i bear witness' you cant move forward to anything without establishing that, yes you are a witness, to whatever it maybe you're calling it.
