I love their collaboration together, love Jerry and Shen Yue.. in this drama. I don’t think I can picture anyone else playing his role. I can understand how he feels. Shen Yue has this inviting and bright aura about her. She’s down to earth and is pleasing to the eye, doesn’t have this Diva materialistic demeanor, so she’s ease to approach and get along with and she’s very respectful and humble with everyone.. it says a lot when someone like Jerry thinks highly of her.. He can be himself around her and feel at ease..looking back at the years, I think this is the first time Jerry enjoys his work wholeheartedly.. it says a lot.. It’s nice to see he has a puppy love crush on our Shen Yue… even I can’t stop smiling when every time she smiles.. you can’t but smile along with her and she takes the bad days away.. her smile is like a stress reliever..

There might be a 20-year gap; however, from watching Jerry, I think he is a "late bloomer?" Someone who has taken an extraordinary journey to learn to be comfortable with himself. Through their acting involvement, Shen has brought out the best in Jerry that might have been lying dormant inside his soul. All good. Not sure where this will end, but enjoy the journey while it lasts, whether for now or forever.

Shen Yue just drew Jerry as one of her closest friends. Knowing Shen, she had many colleagues but she didn't forget Jerry Yan ☺️. Why? Because not only he's sweet to her in drama but also in reality.
