Efren Reyes… the greatest “Magician”. And a very humble person too. He just makes his cue do the talking.

It is so cool how he gives games to his opponent so they don’t lose confidence or lose face. A score of 11-0 would be really embarrassing for Efren’s opponent. You can clearly see he was missing shots on purpose so the kid could have a chance. The kid would miss, then Efren would miss, then the kid again, Efren’s face would say “Okay, enough of this, let’s move on to the next rack” and he would run the table. The kid needs more experience learning angles and cue ball control which will come with time.

at american pool, but i'd bet my life on him being useless on 8ball uk pool with pockets tighter and unforgiving, i've played on ana merican table you can barely miss cushion shots the pockets are that wide and square

From West Texas: I have been following Efren Reyes for a long time now and I am always amazed when another player gets into a "defensive shot" battle with Efren and he just calmly ends the battle with another of his amazing double kick shot and then runs the table while the other player can only sit and take a nap while Efren runs rack after rack and someone has to wake up his opponent!!

I live in Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada. ( on the corner of the Detroit river, and lake Erie ), I used to play well, but, in my old age, either the balls got heavier, or my cue lost weight, I'm not sure, but, they don't go down like they used to. I'm thinking of putting some fishing sinkers in my cues, about half a pound, and a big rubber tip on them, to speed things up. Do they make binocular eyeglasses, I'm having trouble seeing down table, anyway. How does Efren manage to put the cue ball ANYWHERE he wants, it's magic to watch.

Could have been. But he stopped playing seriously very early in his career. His creativity was on par with Efren, and he had the nastiest break of any player. He's the reason they changed the rules for the break to where you had to hit hard but controlled. Because Corey Deuel was a master of the break, and only he could execute perfectly every time.

What's crazy compared to today's pool is how slow the felt is. The bull pulls up way earlier than games you watch nowadays.
