If u r a long time user of this parang..u would make the log into a standing position and chop circle around it..it much easier and faster.

its good to kneel i kneel when i process wood with my bark river parang in case you miss the blade goes into the ground. and nobody gets hurts.

Why are you scraping wood and sparking a ferro rod with the spine near the handle,?? This is where you hold it, so that part of the spine should not have a sharp edge or it will make your hand sore,,!!
