It’s happening everywhere. Insurance increases everywhere. Hurricanes-- mess. Still corporations being allowed to build home estates and even new condos in marsh/future flood areas. Some Politicians allowing violation of EPA codes and local systems. Then storms come and the people get stuck often having to abandon their property. Ignoring climate change effecting storms and tides isn’t a solution. Do a story on the Law passed by Florida Legislature in response to Miami condo collapse. HOA’s forced to do repairs by this winter has meant huge assessment costs to be paid by owners. NOW?…$10,000 plus and some much higher because consistent building structural requirements ignored or not done yearly. The income of most home owners has not increased to meet the huge cost of building upkeep or liability insurance. Solving these problems will take everyone and every business involved willing to stop putting profit before people. Done well eventually everyone will profit. Praying for Floridians.

These are the same ones who would call in the middle of a snowstorm.

The Governor can't stop the ocean from eroding those condos. We rented a beach use the past 25 years and what salt water, let alone disasters, does to property is impressive

That's what happens when you defraud the companies. The new roofs for everyone plan worked out well for Florida.
