Du hast recht. Viele meiner österreichischen Landsleute sind irritiert oder lehnen sie leider sogar ab. Als über 50-jährige (und Kind der 80-er) war jedoch dieser Auftritt beim ESC derartig befreiend für mich, dass ich es nie vergessen werde. Ich war niemals zuvor so stolz auf unsere Entscheidungsträger, dass sie Conquita für dieses Event - trotz all der Unkenrufe - ausgesucht haben. Und natürlich auf eine Persönlichkeit und Künstlerin wie sie. Das gibt mir Hoffnung für unser verstaubtes Land.
I keep rewatching this - so fantastic! Just noticed she has removed her gloves before Where Have All the Good Men Gone - would have liked to see that. She is the most amazing talent - Love, Light and Joy to Conchita and all who love her.
Since I discovered conchita 2 years ago when I started to listen to her songs I just love her apperance and energy and emotion she gives in every performance....she is one of the besz artist for me!!💞

I spent a fabulous moment watching this video. Conchita's outfits were really stunning! Musicians with orchestra, and singing in a classical version is also so beautiful! Singing in a classical or in a rock version, you really reveal the talented artist you are my angel!
