Wow, was looking for a doppler effect sound byte and found this, watched it on a whim, was instantly enthralled. Teachers like this are so rare. Definitely gonna watch a lot of these tonight.

I grew up in Colombia, studied my highschool physics in the 90s with Mr. Hewitt's book. It inspired me. I'm now an engineer thanks to him, I still whisper to myself "física física física" when facing a problem....

its so easy to understand him that after two weeks of struggling trying to figure out what the doppler effect is, i finally understand!

Well because the frequency gets to one direction at a different rate than normal. The bug was moving at the same speed but the frequency changed because the ripple of the wave was headed towards the right and than back to the left.

The left handed teacher said that the change of frequency due to motion is called the Doppler effect. Still I am kind of dazed. Some species, like myself, simply dont get It. Sad,isn't! Hence,Hierarchy.

It's the Christian Effect. Doppler Effect? Nah, it'll never catch on, sounds too strange.
