Concept art Tutorials and Video by Ilya Tyljakov

I often use Nomad in my professional work, but I was missing one very important tool. Which would help me speed up the process of creating concepts in 3D space. Something similar already exists for Blender, but there hasn’t been one for Nomad yet, so I decided to do it, and of course I’ll share my work with you.
As you can see, the process speeds up significantly, you get an excellent basis for creating concepts! Literally from a simple sphere, you can create interesting shapes in minutes. It is Like drawing in 3D space.
Device: Ipad Pro M1
App: Nomad Sculpt
Brushes: RAZUM MEGAPACK PRO 3D(Alphas)/ RaZum Concept Tools
You will get Concepts Tool + Video Tool showcase + Full workflow Mech concepting in Nomad Sculpt

    Very organic process for creating a very 'techy' looking object. I really like how you start by creating a very rough silhouette to work around. Great way of using globby forms as a basis!

    I remember watching hardsuface concepting stream from Dmitrii Rabochiy several years ago, I was blown away watching how he use sphere sketch in 3dcoat! He also mentioned that sphere is not how he imagine instrument supposed to be in his head, he wanted more like squared shape and now it seems like you casually dropped that particular tool like it was obvious to have it anyway for pipeline like that O_O I am really excited and waiting for a tablet to try it asap! thanks for improving life of people from portable digital sculpt community =)

    Dmitrii Rabochiy is an amazing artist. We talked to him a little long time ago :) And yes, the capabilities of the app are simply amazing in their simplicity and functionality at the same time. There are so many amazing things you can do with Procreate and Nomad now! The main thing is that it works faster than on a PC + portability gives even more points to this method.

    Truly mindblown… I was driven here by some realistic clay material post on procreate and look at this! There are so many other amazing things! Will be taking a look at your Gumroad sir, insane quality. Hats off. EDIT: so, from what I understand, you are using two of your packs here right? The 3D brushes pack and the concept tools one?

    Hi, thank you! You should take the time to explore, this is the friendliest app to learn 3D. It is like Procreate in the 3D world. And by the way, it is very easy to learn. It can also be used for illustrations, I use it in my commercial projects, but it’s much faster than sitting down at a PC.

    I bought this yesterday and it's been AMAZING. It even works on my iphone, not only ipad, and since im always designing mechs on my tiny sketchbook, to now have a tool that allows me to design fast sketches on 3D and on the fly is just a dream come true. I usually use VR for this workflow and this feels very similar. Of course VR is always more flexible, but as soon as you understand how to handle the C7 Brush with the orthographic views from Nomad, things get fast and easy to achiev. Thank you for this amazing tool! You mentioned that there is also a similar Add-On for blender, could you tell us the name of it? since I also work on PC but VR is not something I can use for several hours or i get headaches, I was always looking for a tool like this one but for PC softwares like blender. Would really appreciate it. And again, thank you for the tool, and the explanation video + process video were also great!

    Another INSANE work of art! Impressive! Would you be up to doing more anatomy speed sculpts up here? Humans, creatures, whatever you want, but i feel you've mastered that matte but shining skin texture. I keep trying snd get it just a little off

  • @RaZuMsinc

    @RaZuMsinc

    Yes these tools can also be used to study anatomy. Especially for creating dynamic poses. I have done several works in this direction. Of course, digital clay is more suitable for creating characters in the classical sense, as well as for studying anatomy. I use it myself for these purposes. In the latest update 2.1 I already added the ability to pull clay.
