Man.... I just stumbled upon your Skillshare tutorials (painting Environments & Concept Art) and yes....it is what i have been looking for ....for a “WHILE”..now.. as in Years ! This video looks very promising too. I’ve just subscribed.., and i will most definitely be coming back .. mainly for the Architectural stuff..at present. You talk a lot, but it is not irritating at all, on the tutorials/videos. That’s another thing that i really liked about your approach..so _ thank you, and kudos to you ! cheers from Portugal ;)

Beautiful tutorial and loads of useful information! My main focus has always been figurative/organic illustrations, but for those of us who aren't as familiar with rendering land/cityscapes, you really break things down wonderfully. Thank you for putting so much of your passion and experience into every piece.

Really beautiful man. I started your Line Art Master course the other day and I've already learned so much, especially about how to take advantage of the digital medium. I haven't drawn or painted analog or digital in more than 15 years, and while I have tons of room to practice and improve, your lessons have really launched me into it and make me feel like I really can get good at this. I'm about halfway done with the Octopus project (I decided to do a jellyfish/skull, which was biting off quite a lot lol, so I'm sleeping on it before I pick it back up) and I definitely plan to do more of your courses after this. Anyways cheers and thank you for the inspiration and for sharing your knowledge.

Don’t know if you script or just go off your head, but the thoughts and insights in your teaching are really on point. Thanks! ^ ^

Thanks! Very nice of you. It's quite a lot of both. I usually work up a very basic outline and try to just let the conversation flow. If I script too much I sound like a robot :)

I must say, the way you sketch is fascinating. How do keep it so clean ? Is it a conscious choice to go slowly at first so you don't get too many messy lines in the way later ? I sure can't help but start with big messes and taking forever to clean up afterwards !

A lot of that is holding shift to make the lines stay perfectly horizontal or vertical. I do a good bit of erasing too so that it doesn't end up too chaotic.
