I can't help but agree!

This concept is a very good idea for implementation, you can take gtk and Wayland to write a composer, a panel program, a desktop program, programs, and assemble it into a single distribution kit on the Linux kernel. (Oh, and only without activation keys! And so people are infuriated that you need to activate Windows)

Dev: Look, I need a design for an OS. Don't go too crazy, ok? Designer: gotcha

@@videodojo29 I have forgotten what the other two are but I believe the final presentation form is done in PowerPoint if I'm not completely mistaken.

This is a very clean concept! I would love to test out a beta ISO for this if it gets made! The dock at the bottom of the program interfaces is pretty convenient and non-intrusive.

Making a linux distribution for this would be possible but tricky. It would become more of just a custom desktop environment as it is primarily just visuals.

reminds me of the days in my childhood when I would create such OSs in powerpoint and show them to my friends and family.. Good times.

This looks epic...looks like something a child can pick up and know exactly what do with it, in terms of where everything is and what everything does. It's beautiful.

Looks very nice. Reminds me of JingOS, Deepin, and Zorin with the translucent-rounded design. Personally, I'm not a fan of big blocky icons and windows that waste space. It gives off a dumbed down 'built for children and the elderly' vibe. The floating icons and dock in some windows also kinda lack structure/cohesiveness. For touchscreen its fine, but M&K needs a compact mode that reduces gaps and wraps around text more. Honestly, if an OS change noticeably boosts performance while maintaining compatibility I'd switch regardless of how it looks.

It's not perfect but tbh in terms of design it's far more consistent than windows. Great work keep it up dude!

What i love about you is that you make thease like it is a real hing like you have to put in the settings and that you can accualuy use it! That is something few people do

I know right everything to do with ui is very fluent. and the animations are epic!

Fun fact: This can be easily made into reality if it were made as a linux distribution. Reminds me of deepin. Though AROS is very slow, like the "Setting up your computer" and you have you have to wait for it, its very windows 11-like, of course more polished. If it were made in linux, it would probably be faster, no more waiting a few minutes at the "Shutting down" screen when you want it to shut down.

I didn't even realise that this is Powerpoint until I saw the bottom corner. These concepts are really well made.

this looks like smart launcher 6 but desktop but also similar to samsung dex.. nice designs! love the look of the fleunt OS!

Love each and every little or big thing about this concept. Watching you not so regularly since early 2021. One little thing is that there are a LOT of grammatical mistakes. I don't mind that really 'cause you may not be a native English speaker. Try making a Linux distribution like your OS, hoping for the best.

Personalmente creo que es un poco incómodo abusar tanto del glassmorfismo. Todo en ventana modales como que da una percepción visual muy abstracta y fragmentada.

@@zeroseventty4478 tenés razón. un caso sería apple en sus dispositivos, o windows. sólo que en este sistema operativo abusa de la "transparencia" del color casi invisible (ejemplo: 70% transparente), pero sin ese efecto blur como lo usa unos de los que mencioné (incluso samsung se unió en los últimos años). como se puede ver, si se aplica mucho glassmorfismo, como que se pierde la esencia del diseño.

Copying Шindows installation processes and file-system design isn't good for an professional operating system. Of course, Шindows is popular, but it has a lot of bad choices which any other developers and distributors shouldn't use in optimization and system logic purposes. Product key is absolutely useless, in the case of your OS, there are a lot of other optimal algorithms to make your system officially proven and "activated" (look for a macOS, for example, but activation processes with keys - past). File system tree in Шindows is totally the worst structure without any logic, and show it in this concept make it worse. Also, because this design just copying Шindows structure with just redrawing pictures. System settings are also designed just for design, there is no usability. If I see every system option in one place with a lot of pictures and diagrams, I think, it overloads the interface, and users won't use this application anymore. As a graphical design - some parts look pretty good, but as a system design - it's one of the worst concepts I've ever seen. Not only a good picture for the OS should be, but also a good logical interface, which isn't overloaded with everything "in one place", and shouldn't copy Шindows ideas. Like for design, but I hope you'll do it better, without copying the worst existing solutions, make it more creative with understanding what the user will do in your OS. I will never use this OS, if it was real.

It’s quite simple if I’m being honest. Literally piles of squares that have been moved and rearranged with color, opacity etc. All stuff you can just click. The anims are prob the most simple thing here tbh, almost entirely autonstic by simply duplicating a shape and changing the second shapes properties to what you want it to shape into. dragging its size, changing its color etc. All done with a mouse.

Just a heads up AR OS (with space) is a fairly similar name to the already existing AROS (without a space). Which stands for AROS Research Operating System... uh, it USE to stand for Amiga Research Operating System--but with the Trash Fire IP Law is, and ownership of Amiga and Commadore based stuff has them just having AROS stand for AROS Research Operating System I clicked the video thinking somebody had put together a distro of AROS called "Concept" and was show casing it in a video x3. I might have to double check to see if there isn't actually a distro of AROS called "Concept"... as that is actually a VERY AROS sounding distro name Instead I got to see a well done art project. So I mean, it is still a win. However, I figured I'd just bring up that there is already a system called AROS (without a space). This is going to cause confusion and mess with the SEO stuff for this system Sorry... this post looks intimidating--when I was just going to point out that a variation of The Bruce Sketch might end up accidentally being enacted I couldn't tell if part of the joke was that you had AR OS (with a space) be somewhat space themed... or that was a bit of an unintentional pun made

I really like this, this could be made into a Linux distribution based on something like Debian or Arch, and the desktop could be a simple window manager like DWM, bspwm, or a desktop environment like KDE or GNOME.

Hi! If you're really talented to make those kind of animations with Javascript, with a little help you can implement this OS ( technically a desktop shell) on top of the linux kernel with X11 or Wayland. You can integrate your own WebApp for example to find a restaurant, to find a taxi, or to search for stuff to buy in the OS itselft to capitalize on the work. But make it pricavy respecting first :)

Tbh this looks a bit like a KDE Plasma rice someone would make to cash in on Win11's aesthetic, making it a little more Apple-like than Microsoft already has. Except for the installer, which seems heavily lifted from Windows (requiring License keys and all).
