my favorite has always been mack bull dog..pound for pound was said to be the most durable truck in the world.....i have always had a special place in my heart for the dutchman DAF ever since as a young boy i received a matchbox toy truck which was a white DAF FLATBED THREE AXLE WITH RED GIRDERS HELD TOGETHER WITH A RUBBER BAND! i would freak out over the three windshield wipers! i thought daf trucks were the best looking and still do and love them even tho i know so little of them in america..its been a one sides love affair to say the least.thank you for the greatest video of the greatest truck ever the DAF 95..i was like a child again opening up that english matchbox toy truck 45 years ago...my FIRST DAF truck. happy new ywar and god bless you and familes of all posters...hope i havent bored you fellas with my childhood daf story...god bless now..

Ive got a 65. Same as this but a ridgid body. Mine been sat for 4 years in all weathers. Started first time today.

my brand is MACK BULLDOG but I have always.loved the one and only with the best manners and looks- superior engineering and understated elegance- DAF! still going strong- bless holland!

badass...daf breaking it down...with a Symphony yet! My favorite parts (as a truck freak ) was when the almost malevolent relentless D A F THEME strings started again as the careless woman on the bike was ALMOST crushed to death.. Dr. NO'S narration was excellent as well..

the ad was perfect..until the escaped dummy found the truck parked and broke into it...not the blonde dummy with the mustache and glasses driving on the ad ...the other dummy..the TEST dummy lol...seriously..the dutch are brilliant brilliant people..and nice as all hell....I love them.. an american in nyc. oh and I did see tge tachometer move at 8:20..so much went into this...like the string quartet sound in the beginning...which returned for a second amd played again as the man driving the DAF. avoided hitting the woman on bike...1987 was the dark ages in america re trucks - yeah mack is truly the most durable and strongest built long live the bulldog ( volvo now) peterbilts were and are classic and pretty but DAF? my god...ELEGANCE AND POWER! that is a T R U C K !

Scott Prendergast i couldn,t agree more. ive been a DAF fan as far as i can remember. ive been in several other trucks but DAF speaks to me the most. and i got a feeling that isn,t going to change greeting from holland

als je opgegroeid ben met scania , dan was daf niet interessant , de oudere daf's had ik respect voor dat waren goede machines , enkel de cabine was een beetje klein , een lange chauffeur zat tegen de radio aan te kijken , terwijl ie naar buiten moet kijken . voor de daf 95 had ik geen respect , ooit kregen we een demo daf 95 mee een 380 pk , moet je daarmee naar italie in de winter , aangekomen bij de duitse grens effe eten , en na het eten was het donker , en kwamen we er achter de koplampen er verkeerd om in zaten ze schenen omhoog , de airco had in de zomer geweldig geweest , maar ik had liever een stand kachel gehad , die rit reed er 1 van het zelfde bedrijf mee in een scania 112m 330 pk wij waren 100 kg lichter in totaal gewicht , maar in de bergen hield de scania met 50 pk minder de daf gewoon bij , als je de deur dichtgooide van de daf , was je bang ie er uit zou vallen , als je een scania deur dicht gooide gooide je iets dicht iets wat lang mee gaat , al met al het heb mij nooit een fan gemaakt van het merk , daf noemde we raba kzread.info/dash/bejne/aIKotNGNhrPMYLQ.html

I like leyland daf trucks and they are good trucks but the Japanese trucks like hino,fuso,Nissan ud are stronger more powerful , more reliable and have better resale value than daf and other british trucks
