FMCG not showing consumption growth because a lot of home grown Tier-2 Tier-3 brands are giving much better cost effective options to the general public. Their exponential Consumption growth would not be reflected in major FMCG companies, since those Tier-2 Tier-3 companies are not listed. They should then directly print as much money they want and spend on infrastructure or whatever may be.

Namashkar Sir! Query regarding concentrated portfolio and fixing existing ones. Lokesh from Bhopal MP here. Mostly large caps are infy, tcs, hdfcbank,kotak,pidilite, asianpaint approx 60% of portfolio. Midcaps are bit inclined towards chemical stocks so runup is not so great for Fineorg, happiestminds, piind, astral, deepaknitrite, atul, alkylamine, balkrishna industries. 40% of PF. If I go by a filter of if I can put half my networth in any of these stocks I'll just be all in large caps. While you've said HDFCbank, TCS are not the stocks which will grow PF multifolds as a good mid cap company. Please advise? Should I put may be 30% in Nifty Index fund and rest all in focussed high growth mid caps??
