One important thing that he's doing that makes him such a good teacher is that he isn't contradicting himself. Ever. It's way better to leave something out than to include something contradictory!

If you by "mirror" mean the reflector behind the actual LED/Bulb, that is a concave reflector to focus the light spread of the LED/Bulb.

1m is not a good description, to describe a concave mirror you need to tell a radius and an angle
