    This is probably my favorite video of Conan I’ve ever seen. The scene of the little children decorating his hair, the end when they were fascinated by his light freckles skin and holding his hand. He is so gentle with them and so kind and accepting. The whole time they were playing on the school yard my heart was so full of love and admiration. His schtick may be being a confident, weird over the top guy at times, but this stuff shows us his true compassion and respect for others.

    Conan GETS children. As other celebrities or politicians would just show up bringing stuff like toys or lecturing the kids, this man BECOMES a kid, joins them in their invitation to be innocent, not to pass judgement and most importantly, find JOY in life. Please leave aside your political siding and enjoy this video for what it is.

    How someone interacts with children is a great test of their character. Children sometimes ask very honest and uncomfortable questions like the little girl at the end. Conan handled it very well, shows how great he is.

  • @6ixConfessions

    @6ixConfessions

    5 жыл бұрын

    Conan's interaction with the children was so genuine & he didn't care if he looked crazy. Pity the world's leaders & their spouses etc. didn't act accordingly. To really connect with kids you have to know how to reach them in a way they can relate to. He managed to get those kids interested in what is happening around them politically. Clearly Conan understands that but another person, who shall remain nameless but recently visited various countries as ambassador for cyber bullying, had no idea nor was that person prepared to look less than immaculate & modelesque. I doubt that that person's visit will have any real effect on the kids she spoke to.

    DC 1 second ago In my opinion, Conan is not really underrated, rather than misunderstood. He lost the Tonight Show, because the majority of the Baby Boomers, and elderly people from the previous generation, didn't get his humor. He was a little to outside-the-box for them. They were used to watching Johnny Carson and Jay Leno all of those years. People who "get" Conan (like us) love him, and realize that he is in a league of his own. David Letterman acknowledged this in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel by saying that Conan is "like a god on Mt. Olympus." He is highly respected among the other talk show hosts, especially David Letterman. For those people that "get him", he is miles above everyone else.

Not the last 300. Prior to that, it was the British Empire who led the charge, and the US didn't take up those similar machinations until the later half of the 19th century.

The Soviets had far more influnce around the world than the USA during that time. So your argument that the USA controlled half of the world is far from reality and I think you should listen next time in history class Second thing: the USA is pretty much the most agressive nation worldwide, because of them constantly invading third-world countries and no, those countries were not invaded because of "terrorist threat", they were invaded because of how power hungry the USA actaully is. I read the thread before posting, but I only addressed your final statement. If you feel I need to address all your inaccurate statements, I will do so. First, it's very presumptuous of you to state the girl is, "6 years old and already brainwashed." Clearly, you are speaking from an outside perspective of a people you do not understand and make the claim that an intelligent young lady is "brainwashed" because she is spouting information she is learning in school or her family. Do you have children? I do. If one of them starts talking about what they learn in school, I do not immediately conclude they have been "brainwashed." I try to understand what they have learned and how they have learned it and, if necessary, guide them toward the more proper direction to better facilitate their knowledge. Second, by stating that "Ignoring the context accomplishes nothing too. Read the thread before posting" you have further invalidated your own argument. You rush to judge this girl because you do no understand her society, her culture, and her country's history. Perhaps you should understand "the context" of her statements before posting next time.
