Imagine if in the future with the way technology is advancing, we could watch it live maybe even stream it on this new tech called the Internet.

Genuinely think they are worried about losing the money from the TV rights, you are right though it's so frustrating getting a spreadsheet in June, catching it at Christmas (UK) then watching dregs get posted online.

Aren’t they spoiling the fact that Matt goes to the final, by showing clips of him in the final in these group-stage videos??

Im going to play devils advocate here. How much money does WSM get from CBS? Would WSM dissolve without TV money? Just curious, because I 100% agree about live streaming.

Gotta remember CBS is just the states. They sell to another 70 countries. So without tv they wouldn't be able to get the sponsors from having a few thousand views on their videos. The amount of money to fly in athletes from all over the world must be huge, then include food, stay, transit, staff, etc. Also strongman needs new eyes on the sport, KZread is all algorithms, we see it since we follow it... I'm glad rogue live streams the Arnold's and Rogue invitational but totally understand why WSM sticks with the current model.

I guess I’ll have to compete in strongman to actually watch the competition because it seems like it is impossible to watch a complete competition without being spoonfed tiny incomplete portions events much less entire competitions.
