I think y’all confuse fashion with style. Fashion designers & executives usually don’t care to follow fashions and instead have their own styles (ie. Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour) which is most important. Style gives people a fashion identity of their own outside of the ever-revolving styles & trends of fashion.
