97 - 2005 were his golden years. What you'll never see on the Team Coco channel are his monologues and the music cues (which cost money that only NBC could afford). You have to find these on other channels on youtube but they are absolutely worth it. Like Bobblehead Conan and a few others. Conan was the only late night host who would make me cry laughing. But it was mainly his banter with Max during the monologue and after Max played the music. This stuff is all hilarious, but absolutely nothing like some of the more precious moments we'll never see in HD quality unfortunately.

Conan may be depressed and disappointed by the whole affair (despite saying otherwise) and he's probably a little disheartened at seeing the Tonight Show treated the way it was (and how it currently is), but the fact remains that everything was for the better. He would've been a puppet on a leash had he stayed at NBC. It was too corporate from the get-go for someone of his caliber.

@@EmpyreanLightASMR Tonight Show has turned into complete garbage ever since both Conan and , yes , Leno left the show. It's just not funny or entertaining. Fallon is SO not funny. NBC probably picked him because of his SNL connection. If it wasn't for that, he would not be the host..Let's also not forget that the current Tonight Show is trying to cater to milennials and Gen Z's, constantly bombarding us with political statements after political statements, has pointless segments, and no original ideas. It's appalling. Sadly the Tonight Show won't change because of how things are nowadays.
