"Con Alma" is a jazz standard written by Dizzy Gillespie, appearing on his album Afro. The original recording incorporates both bebopjazz and latin rhythm. In my version I remain the latin beat through the song. Among those who have recorded versions are Sonny Rollins, Oscar Peterson, Wes Montgomery, Ed Bickert, Stan Getz, Kenny Burrell and there are a lots of more.
