    That's brilliant, and practical. Expanding MEMS in such way will open many possibilities. And since the application is different there may be other fit materials other than silicon germanium which can be used to make complex, more useful things

    This reminds me about scientists using gene editing technology to allow salmonella bacteria to be activated in low oxygen environments like brain tumors. God, people are so cool!
