    I still have the disc from our first computer, the Compaq Presario back in 1996. This program was amazing. Saved my ass on so many projects and book reports when I was in 6th through 8th grade.

    I used to live in this program! I just spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out what it was called, luckily Jean-Luc knew the way.

    It's amazing how we went from Encyclopedia CD Roms to tik tok in 30 years. I still remember using these Encyclopedias. I spent my time reading articles about different subjects, and to have it on a computer seemed so magical. Then when AOL sent me a CD ROM and I was able to access the World Wide Web......🤯 Kids nowadays will never know what it was like before the internet.

    I used to LOVE using this. Sadly the CD disappeared.. someone probably got jealous and stole it. This was prime educational content for kids at the time!

    In 1998, I saw an introduction of this CD on a magazine..... cause to Cap. Picard, I'd like to have one but I didn't know how to buy......25 years later, I saw this KZread video and recalled mymemory....

    Oh, man, I remember this. Brings back all memories. I've been trying to find MIDI files from this CD-ROM online. Specifically, I was looking for the one called "Spring Sonata" by Beethoven. No luck. How'd you manage to get this running, btw? Some sort of emulation software? DOSBox was confusing as fuck.

    I had this one. came with my compaq presario 7180 ? it was the flat desktop case and came with a amd k4 80mhz 486 like processor and 8mb of ram. win 3.1.

    Sorry for the late comment, Vuusteri, but in this game, there is a section called Madcap Music. Can you please make a video where you go only to that section and play all the music that's available in the Madcap Music section, including world music. Thank you very much.

    I remember listening to Dvorak's 9th symphony for the first time in this software. Sure it helped me to discover the beauty of classical music back then i was a kid.

    My folks used to have the 1972 physical edition and from what I can remember, it was chock-full of biases, some of which were either laughably bad or even insensitive by today's standards. It defined the Soviet Union as a "ruthless Communist dictatorship" and even had the gall to label Dred Scott as "ignorant".

    I was in the 4th grade when I had this, with my nice CRT monitor, sound blaster speakers hanging, 233mhz with turbo button on lol
