Compressor soundproofing tutorial, DIY booster

In this video I am making a box to soundproof my compressor which is connected to my compressed air circuit, this box is made of wood covered with sound-absorbing foam over its entire interior surface.
The air inlet and outlet are made by baffle to prevent the noise from escaping through the.
The electric motor of the compressor is fitted with a fan on its shaft to force the extraction.
I install a temperature sensor with a compressor cut-off if the temperature rises too much inside the box.
I started by putting silent blocks on my compressor (compression head and engine), to reduce the noise linked to strong vibrations.
The noise reduction of my compressor is more than sufficient for my taste, I think it's a whole, the silent blocks, the soundproofing box with acoustic foam, the silencer and of course the distance thanks to my air circuit compressed.
This box and these baffles for soundproofing were glued with white glue and stapled with a senco pneumatic stapler.
This soundproofing box can also be suitable for reducing the noise of a booster, a pump, a motor, a vacuum cleaner or other noisy things.
I made this box because I was fed up with noise in the workshop, it allows me to remove my noise-canceling headphones in the workshop.

Avec plaisir, si ça peux éviter à certains de trop se gratter la tête c'est top 🙂.
Pour les parois du caisson je suggère de l'agglo, genre du 19. Les fibres courtes transmettent beaucoup moins le son et les vibrations que le cp, dont les fibres sont continues et longues. Et l'agglo c'est pas cher et on trouve plein en récup. Ta vidéo est super. Merci

Merci pour ton retour 👍 J’ai pris du contreplaqué relativement fin pour une question de poids, du contreplaqué serait plus lourd mais sans doute plus efficace et conduirait encore moins les vibrations 👍👍

Oui un bon compresseur dans un atelier ça change la vie 🙂. Mais moins y a de db mieux c'est 🙂.

Bonjour, à voir l'espace que vous avez, en règle générale ce sont des polystyrène moulé au dimensions avec l'arrondi du rouleaux du tabliers de volet inséré dans le caisson.
Bonjour, quel est ce type de rail de guidage à pinces que vous utilisez à 4:32 ? vendu ou diy ? Merci

Bonjour, c'est un rail que j'avais trouvé il y a quelques années en magasin, je te met un lien en description d'un rail du même type
Pour l aspiration, une prise d air extérieure aurait permis de diminuer encore le bruit.

Effectivement, mais le compresseur est en sous sol c'était un peu plus contraignant pour le mettre vers l'extérieur

Mais comme je suis contre le gâchis, il y aura des tas de compresseurs classiques à réparer et à continuer de faire fonctionner. Et la effectivement une boite insonorisante est indispensable si vous ne vous voulez pas voir débarquer votre voisin avec un fusil.

Oui et souvent c’est des pannes facilement réparable… oui ça fait du bien de limiter le bruit dans l’atelier 👍👍 et effectivement les voisin ne se plaigne pas du caisson 😅
