gonna add to this as well, you are able to run through grin demon after you throw the torch at him, so if you're trapped in a certain area you can throw the torch at it and run through it to escape edit: you're welcome for finding the grin demon route :)

To me this part is very easy, same for nightmare mode. All you gotta do is go into big rooms and very open rooms that you can go into without a door, but has another door to exit the room. And if you have a lit torch and the monster corners you, just throw it at him, run through him and get away from him.

Also I would really recommend listening for the noises and here are some tips for them: (I’m u hear the grinning demons noise then a scream that means someone had died, if u hear it’s noise twice without the scream then its most likely someone putting the thing on fire, if u hear a crunchy like noise that means that it had teleported somewhere *most of the time it tps to the start* and whenever u hear it yelling and ur screen turns wider that means it’s going to chase you and lastly, if u hear a little ba-bing noise and see a door symbol go towards the door symbol that’s were the exit is.) (helpful tip is that it can chase and kill until you make it to the spot at spawn in the room that you fell in when u got out the grin demons chase.)

I also has a trick that it makes sure u will pass this part, and it can apply on both nightmare solo and multiplayers To do this is pretty simple, you must go as fast as u can to the first nearest room that has cave(the one that's infront of the maze's enter door and has 2 ways, one is a door) then after that u go to the way that has door then turn right go straight and turn right again for material, then u go back and again go to ur right and run to the top left cave for material then craft and light the torch, then u go to the corner at top left, stick at the left so that grin demon won't see u when he tp, just wait till him tp then run a circle to the old spot u were at(remember to take the material when u cameback, only take one per route/2 if multiplayer and u can make sure that it won't tp to u), also remember to wait for grin demon(after grin demon appears u go to the next corner(the corner that u can hear nyudo) but go a bit to the door that has purple flame near and wait till u see grin demon coming then u go to that door and wait again till u see he comes and u can go to get the material now), the reason this trick works very effectively is because grin demon will somehow won't chase you but just walk to you unless you're too near to him, and while u get the material he's still coming for u so u don't scare fly because it would take him time to get to u/tp to u Anyways this trick is just for people that want to play safety/begginers, not for pros or speedrunners

His ai path is unpredictable, and i think its path can be influenced by your movement. Miss the times when ai path can be memorized and spotted. Now it's just random combinations of maths determining which direction the ai will go. RNG moment...

I made a similar tip on another video but here’s some tip from me! If you truly are scared of the grin demon then your best bet is to have the maximum of 1-3 players. I say this because the torch crafting varies on how many players it is. Do NOT I repeat do not linger in rooms for so long. Go around the map as quick as you can, this is because the demon can smell, see, and hear better than you and his speed is faster. However if you are being chased go near spawn and give PAST the statue since he can’t pass it. And this was briefly shown but you can carry more than one torch! Which means if you have one light it up and work on the next one(if the items don’t show don’t panic it’s in ur inventory!)

That's very normal! Although I didn't include a route for this situation in the video, I purposely did that so you guys can easy make your own! Plus, If he spawns at spawn, you can just go at the top of the maze and get items!

Just run in circles, have quick reaction time, go for headshots, and i think trees help you with the vines attack.

The red meatballs are called shokunin or in English crafting table

I just tried and with ur speed exactly, he spawned infront of me and I wasnt able to light the torch even though I went just as fast as you with a timer 😭

lol, as he said, u dont need to do the same thing that he did, i made the first torch with his route, got to spawn cause the monster was following me, crafted the torch, got the flame on it, made another torch and threw them at the grin demon (thats what i did last time playing this chap on solo, just like an example)

make your own route you can go in the center part to craft your torch and light it first since it's a little bit more safer

Maybe he does check the hallway but he doesn't check deep inside the room itself so it's basically just risky to go out instead of pure unsafe room

Run in circles always, you can run around the tree to avoid big aoe root attack, aim at head for big damage

As a mobile player with a laggy phone this is an easy job for me

Honestly this chapter was hella easy but the only thing i HATE is the rhythm part with the hearts(in nightmare),The bogeyman spawning at the side where you feed the wall and Yurei doing those backflip thingys other than that this chapter is rlly easy i js hope they make the heart part easier in nightmare mode cuz its too hard for me personally

What if it's just their devices aren't strong enough or they are having a bad connect, I'm not trying to protect him but saying the truth. Honest to say the rhythm part doesn't only require ur reaction speed, but it also requires and prediction concentration, only get distract by a small stuff like a fly is flying around ur perspective and u can die from that. Bogeyman has a chance to spawn right there after u feed a larva and if u're at the middle or at the dead end then u're probably die unless u heard and reacted fast enough to run to a save spot(btw when I do solo he spawned there and almost get rid of me while me getting the last larva). About the backflip it's easy to understand that it's the most annoyed attack other than the others, in nm multiplayers the dash attack is probably the most annoying but in solo you can lost ur half HP if u didn't react fast enough to backflip and you're not always focus on yurei( I don't even look at yurei until getting 3 swords :>) whatever after several times only get hit by that attack u would be able to react to it when u hear the sound, no damage taken boss fight solo nm c3b2 isn't something too hard

The problems are the immeasureable lag and its unpredictable AI path. Imagine collecting scraps and have the monster right at the door, and it charges at you immediately.

You can turn on the performance mode settings to try reduce the lag You can make your own route for different situations + you can outrun him

Pretty simple, but sometimes, when I go to the left direction, Grin Demon Teleports and follows me in the room so. I think it works if you have luck, it doesn’t if you don’t. BUT THX FOR THE EXPLANATION IVAN!

Tip: I discovered the area that is on the right side of the spawn, you can hide behind the crafting things(you must be crouched) and grind Demon won't notice you even when it spawns but be careful you should have high volume because it will not hide you if the grind demon is chasing you (edit: you can skip the part without leaving the area by being patient)

After doing the Grin Demon Chase, Immediately run to the escape room. It's the safest room to camp since the Grin Demon doesn't teleport or go there unless someone leads it there.

@@lukazdrava This trick doesn't work on single player lol, sometimes it does but there's a high chance the grin demon goes there since they can hear you walking/running. But this trick has a higher chance to work on Multiplayer. I didn't notice until i tried to solo NM using that trick but i tragically failed

It’s hard I can’t pass it in solo only multiplayer

this is very unacurate as when you run out to get the stuff nededd for a torch you realise he spawns randomly and not the same way shown in the video at all because when you run in to make the 1st torch he could possibly come in there with you because he already spawned in a different area and now is checking the area for you and then you get traped and now died and not just that its that he could spawn in completely diffrent areas that can instanly ruin your run in just seconds
