The day finally came to fabricate our compounds on the project truck! We used a 467.7/83 with a 485/96 on the 2007 Ram. All was going well until it blew the gasket!

I ran my hot charge pipe the same way. kept blowing the lower intercooler boot. finally had v-band flanges tigged onto the intercooler and charge pipe end. o-ring flange of course. made a charge pipe mount off of the top core support bolts to give the hot pipe support because it has to stay stationary with the intercooler. I have not blown a boot since. I also love only having the one big 3inch flex boot by the valve cover. just less failure points the better.
