Daniel, thank you for this video! Just got the GP200 and this has resolved all of my footswitch assignment questions. I’ve recreated my own version of your patch/ CTRL settings and it works brilliantly for quickly accessing/ switching my most used sounds and effects. The Clean to Distortion switch is the one that troubles most Valeton uses as you can’t ‘channel switch’ within the same patch but this workaround solves that for me so thank you again for posting 🤘🏻

Gave you shout out on my channel I own fractal and again they are the best but after dialing in the valeton and created scenes I gotta say this unit is one of the best , close to fractal I have messed with. Headrush,helix,kemper,boss I have owned them all . For the money quality and layout I got scenes working and sound is comparable to fractal. Effects are good not as good as fractal but close. Thanks again from usa!

can i turn on/off effects in the patches or footswitch abcd? using the ctrl foot switch?

I like the attention to detail with the foot switches being longer on top and shorter on the bottom row. How is the Audio Interface for recording through a DAW on PC/Mac? Thanks. PS- What guitar are you playing in this video? Sounds great

It's the Harley Benton Fusion 3. DAW integration on PC works great. Never had any problems with that unit. Cheers! 😁

Did the updates software address issue??

advantage of the helix is you can assign black parameters to switches when needed. so in my helix sometimes a few parameters inside the fx blocks changes. in example - if i go from clean rhythm snapshot to a clean lead snapshot the tone section of the amp will change and also the the reverb mix levels. i have both units for different purposes and valeton does not do parameter changes to my knowledge.. or am i wrong?

I'd like to see how to get a B3 sound and use the expression pedal to vary speed like a Leslie turning on and off.

You mean, the organ B3?Never tied out that kind of sound, but it might be interesting....

With the control assignments, can you also send midi commands out? And can these be command change and program change?

@@DanielKraemerMusic thanks! Looks like you can configure midi out per footswitch freely, but the midi in needs specific values. Still unsure if you can send midi to the valeton to activate a patch/bank and send a midi out to the amp (to switch channels for example). I was looking to use it for the time fx/midi switching

My question would be like patches can be assigned to controllers footswitches? As not to be banking up and down?

Yes, you can assign anything (patch, bank, ctrl, looper etc.) to any of the footswitches.Very flexible unit.... 😁

Moin Daniel, ich hab mal eine Frage....ich nutze die Software Cabinetron um mir eigene IR's zu bauen. Ich habe die ganzen Specs der Bitrate und so weiter beachtet....bekomme sie auch in den Valeton hochgeladen, aber wenn ich sie benutzen will hört man garnix. Es funktioniert nicht. Irgendwie komm ich da nicht weiter....ich hoffe du kannst mir da weiterhelfen?.... Danke, Gruß Kim

Hallo Kimjankoppitz! Ich hatte mit sowas auch immer Probleme bzw. kann leider nicht sagen, woran es liegt. Die Länge der IR's ist ziemlich wichtig, insofern würde ich mal eine kommerzielle IR wav daneben legen, die im Valeton funktioniert, und schauen, ob es Unterschiede zu deiner erzeugten IR gibt. Great video, thanx a lot Daniel🤟 I connected my gp200 to a bluguitar amp1 iridium and i would like to send midi messages to the amp1. Amp1 listens on midi channel1. I set up the gp200 to send midi messages on midi channel 1 but the gp200 does not send any messages. Do you know how to set up the gp200 midi settings so that i can control any midi device listening on channel one? I spent a few hours to figure it out but unfortunately no luck😩 Can you possibly help me to solve that problem?

Thanks, Simon! I tried out the midi controls once, and it worked, but I set the channel to omni. Have you tried that? also maybe play around with the clock settings. Should not be that important, if it's just used for switching presets. You can access all these things via the editor. Good luck! 😉

How do you switch between preset mode and stomp mode only using the footswitches?

I've assigned some fsw to change presets, and some others to switch on certain effect block.That unit is very flexible, and you can assign anything to any of the fsw...
