Yesterday, I completed the Pretty Muddy 5K for Cancer Research. I've never been so muddy or felt so unglamorous, but I absolutely loved it! The registration fee was £10, and while we pledged to raise £50, you can raise as much or as little as you can manage.
The course was a 5K obstacle run filled with mud, water, and all sorts of messy fun. We couldn't stop laughing and felt incredible afterward.
Here are some tips if you're thinking about taking on the challenge:
♡ Bring a carry bag or waterproof bag for your keys, phone, and other essential
♡ There weren't any water stops on our route, so make sure to hydrate well before the race and bring a small water bottle with you
♡ If you're driving to the event, cover your car seats with bin bags. Even after changing, we were still wet and filthy!
