There’s obviously a story behind this car. It’s criminal how such a prestigious car could have been left to get in such a state. Good work guys.👍

The joys of water damage :( No matter how nice it looks, the thought of sorting the electrics alone is a good enough reason to break it sadly.

Hello again, A 'TOP TIP', for the inside once first cleaned, dilute 'Oil of Clove' 10 to1 with water and clean again, it not only cleans the mould but kills the mould 'spores'. Used it on a VW Golf two years ago which was worse than you RR and is still super clean and mould free. Regards, RichardA.
great job as always, great to see Lee on camera. I think you must be a proud big brother to have Lee working with you.

You just washed the car 🚗 and called it restoration so funny guy, really funny, the most funniest guy i ever seen on you tube.
Great video kev what a shame about that lovely car it's going to be scrapped you and Lee did a brilliant job of cleaning it inside and out shame it was flood damaged
Wow Kev you and Lee made that car look like a brand new 2022. Well done lads.
Wow what a superb car. I could not believe that it's to be scrapped because she got sunk in water. I thoroughly enjoyed the video seeing you & Lee working together on such a great car. Here's to seeing the next brother's working together video.😊😊

Great video as always
Nice one Kev. Thanks 👍
If someone asks me what your dream car looks like..... salute from Croatia ..... great car i love it
Really good job well done to you and Lee
Hi kev what a great video thank you take care
Ah! Flood damage. Poor thing! The engine, once cleaned out and re-oiled, will probably run like it was supposed to, but at the present price of petrol, it's likely you couldn't afford to start it - never mind drive it anywhere! Had to laugh at those dissolving floor-mats, though!

@@Xantec the chances of finding a market for the interior parts is slim, the removable panels will all go but most of that car will be binned, shame, i bet it could be made road worthy gain.

Good job, a big hug from Spain
Well done looks amazing
I was trying to work out the back story as I was watching it. I thought it had been repossessed and in anger the owner had parked it with the roof down for a few months til the finance company eventually found it. In reality, it was less spiteful 🤣
Good work chaps!
Yes, the condensation inside the headlights whilst you were detailing it kind of gave away it was more than just a bit dirty!.

Would love to have seen under the bonnet of that thing. Came up soooo nice.
Another excellent video Kev and Lee, good work from you both to get it looking so good!! I’ll make a list of Dawn parts that I need!! 😂 Keep up the good work and keep safe 😀🚛🚛
orsm effort guys ...you did your very best :-)
awesome effort boys
Hi you both made a great job of that well done
Great work i give you a 9/10
wow this mad big hello from norwich thank you
What a shame that is going to be stripped for spares, great job guys that was hard work
Best I bring my car to you for valeting. What a superb job well done . Shame the Dawn was a breaker as I really liked it never seen one before. I also didn’t know they were made in Goodwood either
You both have a calling for the valeting business. Fantastic job but a shame it's going to be pulled apart. I guess it would be plagued with electrical issues no matter ho tidy it looks.
Before I learned that it was flood damaged I was concerned about the use of all that liquid being sprayed on the switches and loudspeaker grills. If it hadn't been flooded would those components have been damaged anyway???
@noahvaglia4104
2 жыл бұрын
I've heard that the switches and what not in vehicles are like water tight or i should say water resistant so you can spray or spill something like water or coffee and it shouldn't damage it it's just when they get submerged for a long period of time the water gets in and corrosion takes over and ruins it
Such a good vlog
You got me there keV. I thought that was a car you got to clean up and sell. Beautiful car though
great job guys, seen you last week kev up by drive in mcdonalds poole :)
Nice car Kevtee
What a beautiful Car, who would let it get into such a mess. They must have money to waste. You both certainly put a good effort into cleaning that, well done lads.

Great jpb mate
The people who did this should be locked up, (or at least prevented from ever buying a car again)that is criminal!

Very good Kev, but does it run and how many electrics are broken?? A vid on that would be good!
Some good old truck wash and mechine polish wot about under the engine bay!!!!
I owned a wraith for 4 years. 2017-2021. 4 year lease. So it was brand new when I got it. Under warranty it had over 50k worth of work done to it while I owned it. I wouldn't touch one of these with a 10 foot pole used. Much less water damaged. The electronics alone will cost a fortune
Like some others, from the comments, I thought….what the duck happened to that? Sergei in LA would have a go at fixing it, as long as it wasn’t salt water 😂
Great work Kev! I really loved watching the video seeing a 2014/2015 Rolls Royce Dawn being restored to its former glory. The interior looks amazing with the cream color and navy blue carpets and fabric roof. The paintwork is amazing now! Needs a new Spirit of Ecstacy and its ready for its new owner,also the air suspension needs a good check up :D
@KevTee

Yeah the cream hide certainly made it a challenging clean up, enjoyable process nevertheless 👍
I'm guessing the only reason to spend the effort cleaning is to make the parts worth more. With the mold it's been sitting for a bit (at least 12 months) and the engine, gearbox & diff would be toast. At least it has done the miles which means it's done it's job.
@KevTee

Yep that was half the point, parts that we thought were scrap are now salvageable. Engine and box are also still good 👍

Canadian here... wondering if you have a cleaner called "spray 9" there?...it's very aggressive and I wouldn't recommend it on leather unless you moisturize the leather right after...those seats look pretty far gone anyway
