To answer one of the questions in the video, Marty’s most powerful opponent is the shadow dragon. Although the main antagonist of the game is more so Gharnaf, the wizard working to resurrect above mentioned shadow dragon

as a guy who has beat the beast that is frame perfect Lv.9 Giga Bowser playing as Super Sonic, all I gotta say is, F-Air, Down Smash and Up-Air are your best friends at mid percentages

12:36 I love THIS part of the video specifically, because it's a funny metaphor for Mother 3's game development. Mother 3 WAS meant to be Earthbound 64, but due to technical limitations and getting stuck in developer hell (as is true for literally every Mother game in existence), it never survived as Earthbound 64, but rather, the project got moved to the GBA, which DID survive and we now know and love as ''Mother 3''.

Imagine if Earthbound 64 was actually moved for Nintendo Gamecube instead of GBA, that would be awesome. Btw there are a few frames in the EB64 trailer where you can see Ness (And there's no Ness in Mother 3) so it looks like many things has been changed, especially the lore. I wonder what was the whole original concept of Mother 3 🤔

I love RE4, my daughter knew that and pestered me to play it. One birthday she asked if she was finally old enough to play it and was ecstatic when I said yes. Medeus is the main antagonist in the archanea games along with gharnef, funnily enough marth cant damage gharnef and even better is in fe11 marth gets obliterated by medeus on the third difficulty and above

Sir Daniel Fortesque, is the skeleton man you speak of at the beginning. From a PS1 game called “MediEvil”, also a playable character in PlayStation All-Stars.

the reason samus's skeleton is just her body is because in the base game when characters get shocked, their skeletons show, that's where the models come from, and only 3 characters don't show their skeleton; kirby and jigglypuff because they don't have bones, they just show as a featureless silhouette, and samus, which shows her body inside the suit

I personally think that the next/last two characters will be King Dedede and Banjo and Kazooie! The former because Sakurai wanted him initially in Smash 64, but he was scrapped. And the latter because he was a very requested N64 Rareware classic! :) (Edit: and admittedly, in terms of bias... Diddy Kong, Princess Peach, or Mega Man Classic OR X. The first one because we could maybe use more Donkey Kong presentation, Princess Peach because we need a new female fighter, and the last one because I'm biased and it would be cool to see either Mega Man in an N64 environment. :))

@@tjreardon8495 Yes, but it’s also a family game that’s built (ha ha) to be super easy to the point where death respawns you exactly where you stood. And that’s what makes the jumpscare so good. It’s so unexpected and unfitting of the general tone of the game that it hits you that much harder. I love it.

You know choctopus i would've believed you back then about unlocking sonic in smash 64 by shooting all the credits in the arcade mode on the hardest difficulty with no continues within a certain amount of time but ive done that on multiple occasions because i used to play a lot of smash 64 and always waned to see if i could beat the arcade mode better

medeus a dragon who can turn into a guy is the final boss of all of marths games, but i would say that gharnef an evil wizard is marths actual nemesis [gharnef having killed marths dad and been responsible for multiple resurrections of medeus].

When in doubt just say marth arch enemy is a big dragon (that’s how most fire emblem final boss end up being)

Homing attack is really exploitable if your character can edgeguard, and Sonic is only actionable after a long while, perhaps above 60 frames, with Up-B the wait is shorter but you can't REALLY do stuff like "spring > up-air" since you have to wait until you start falling to attack, and you can't do specials, so basically any fastfall aerial can and will connect on you in the meantime. It does travel a long distance if you use it well, but that's in exchange of being vulnerable once you lose your jump, which most other recoveries compensate by having a hitbox in them, instead of a projectile that won't help your recovery unless you're edgeguarding.
