As a kid that was put into private school, piano lessons, academic pressure, into corporate business early... This hits home way too hard. The metaphor of realizing a taste of wealth, then failing or hitting a wall, then thinking about what's important and making that fork-in-the-road equate to a trigger. Do you continue or deviate. Absolute art. Absolute brilliance.

Everything else was a one shot, the 1st part had around 8 takes to get the right one, but the shot with the string section was a True One Take, because with the rain machine getting everything wet, they'd only get one shot at it.

I'd love it if we could all just be voted off our respective islands and sent to go live on another one, all of us together, the wise, the caring, the empathetic, the artistic, the kind, the intelligent, the smart (at whatever makes you remarkable and we all have something though not everyone uses it for good), the mindful, the colorblind, those who are free from judgemental ideologies, the funny, the storytellers, the musicians, poets, writers, inventors, doctors and scientists, dreamers, even the sick, unemployed, marginalized, forgotten, persecuted, prosecuted (bc Australia rocks, so why discriminate now? Plus, the former president of the United States is officially a convicted felon. But he's not invited.), dog lovers, cat people, tall and short, young and older, thin and less so, depressed and happy, male and female, rich and poor, educated and not. All the people who have love and hope and faith and trust, that good will prevail if we just stick together.... I want to go to there. #renegades

Just saw some behind the scenes clips on Knox Hills reaction, and I think they used a Arri Trinity steadycam/gimbal (or something similar to that). It's a game changer and can produce some really nice choreographed steadycam shots like seen in this video. The magic is, that the head on the steadycam itself is a motorized gimbal and can be controlled by an assistant camera operator standing at a monitor, who then takes care of fine tuning framing or does those nice 360° turns. The Trinity has been used a lot in the movie "1917", which is famous for the long continous takes.

Great reaction, again! I love the technical breakdowns you do. It's a different perspective from all other reactors. Ren said, in his live stream after the premiere, that there is one cut. I don't think this had anything to do with Jenny and Screech? This was the story of how a rich man with political and corrupt power got to where he was. How all of us are caught up in the same cycle of striving for wealth, striving to be better than our peers instead of working to build community and connection with each other and all that resides on this planet and the planet itself. We live in self made isolation as we continue to always want more. We turn to drugs and alchohol instead of each other. We destroy rather than build and we lose ourselves in the process of that destruction.

How many of us will be impacted anaugh by this masterpiece to make change on our daily live? We all apllaude Ren but how much are we cuting off the money game? I do, and I will, buying from local production, quiting all the amazon and walmart of this world, not changing my phone befor it's realy need to be change, buying drift close and furniture as much as I can. Funny how all those little thing are good for the environement as well. More money in my pocket.. to be able to help other who are in need. At the end of my game I'll have nothing left but God know's I'll be happier. Peace to everyone 💐

I was asked to visit a history museum that day and declined with: "I'll be watching music history in the making." I can't wait for your interview with Sam and to see your awe when he reveals the various shots. 😊 I won't spoil here what I learned from Knox' interview with Sam.

THIS is the reaction we all came for! ❤ You catching flies with your mouth open throughout the video just was a picture of my own face when i watched the premier! Just shocked and speechless with awestruck amazement! And such truth in the beauty. 45 ... the number of "mine mine gimme" in the US.... our 45 embarrassment. But yeah, Jimmy had so many chances to take a different path and help the world, but he constantly chose the greedy path. Trying to get his daddy's approval and then his dad died with no closure to that constant seeking. So he was stuck on that path forever grasping for that unattainable goal... spinning out until the life changing injury showed him the truth. Five years of brooding on his wasted life, following the "code" of the "land of the free" and all it got him was a lot of things. Lonely empty things and nothing but a broken body. Then He pressed the trigger. Our way of living, grasping for power and money (that isn't even real it's all a construct of our own device) and trying to grab everything we can get, whether we need it or not, always stepping on ppl just to get the biggest piece of the pie... even when we aren't hungry. It's suicide in the end. Humanity could be beautiful. We could be a community, working living in a harmonious environment. But we choose parasitic suicide. And maybe we don't deserve to survive. We keep choosing dystopia over utopia. Ren is a genius and i hope ppl hear what he's saying and take it to heart. Great reaction! ❤

I love your perspective on the videography! Ren said on his Twitch stream that there was one cut only. When they pan around the back of the wheelchair. Ren said they had to so that one as the strings and rain shot was so tricky. He didn't want to have to redo the whole thing for the final portion. Almost a one take. Just one cut. ❤❤
