You’re welcome😊Wow 6 babies, you rock mama!!!💗I would LOVE to have that many haha. What’s your favorite go-to cloth diaper brand/style you love?!

Cold rinse first. Human secretions contain proteins that harden in hot or even lukewarm water, thus fixing the stain. You can wash your diapers however you like but you advise people the wrong method to get rid of stains.

I have always been told to do a cold pre wash so no stains set and that it helps remove more from the diapers ? Now I'm confused 😅

Hi Meagen! Yes I have seen this among the cloth diaper communities as well saying cold for the Prewash. I got my wash routine approved through fluff love university, so I’ve just been using what they recommended and it’s working wonderfully😊I’m sure if I did cold for the pre wash it wouldn’t be that big of deal as long as the main wash is for sure set to hot👍🏻

Fluff love is notorious for having the worst wash recommendations I’m seriously shocked they are still around. A cold rinse is what’s best

Great question! You will want to spray off the solid poopy diaper in the toilet first before putting it into the bag to keep for wash day. I’ll attach a few links to other videos I did to help you with this. It’s super easy, especially if you set yourself for success with getting a diaper sprayer to attach directly to the toilet as well as a Simply Imagine. I talk about it all in these videos😊 THE POO | #1 QUESTION | CLOTH DIAPERS kzread.info/dash/bejne/aIWp15V6erbZaKw.html SET FOR SUCCESS | CLOTH DIAPERS kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZmGMspKxedjee9o.html

Fluff Love is a terrible source actually 🫣 everything is outdated and anyone that uses their advice eventually ends up with detergent build up

Oh wow I haven’t heard this from anyone before! Is there a source you recommend over Fluff Love? How do you wash yours?😃I’m open to hearing other methods for sure! Thank you for your comment.

@@mamalovescloth all advice is to never use any sort of bleach as that will destroy the waterproof layer or the PUL, and any natural fibers too. The temperature should rarely go above 140 F for the same reasons, although if the diapers need to be stripped due to any potential smells, a higher temp every so often is typically ok. I don't know how hot your 'hot' setting is, so I thought I would mention that. From what I have heard, bleach can stay in the fabric and then that chemical is touching babies most sensitive skin which can cause many issues. A full scoop of detergent is way too much even just for clothes (think about it, the company wants people to use more product so that they're coming back and buying it more often. 1/2 a scoop is probably good enough to be perfectly honest. The waterproof layer can be quite fragile when it comes to heat, the elastic will perish much quicker with heat too and it isn't recommended they go in the dryer if you can help it. I hope this information helps you :)

@@saieladyyou can use bleach ( the correct way to reset diapers it won’t destroy your pul if used correctly) I’ve used bleach at least every 3 months my pul is great! Been cloth diapering about 4 years now

@@DeepRootedwithTulani bleaching too frequently or adding too much at once can indeed break down the fibres, especially bamboo. It can also void the warranty if they’re new 😔

@@saielady no one ever needs the warranty on diapers lol if your at a place where you think you need to bleach pretty sure that warranty is already voided lol Again doing it the correct way which is not too much or too often is just fine.
