Created rectangles and filled the colors in them from images (which I've found from Google) using eyedropper tool.

I'm new in graphic designing field and confuse that from where take idea of cartoon clipart sketch

In illustrator oto Window - Workspace - Reset to saved layout. If it doesn't work, just install a different version of Ai, there might be a glitch. :)
