It's finally here everyone! We have missed you a lot!! We battled extra challenges this month that really shouldn't have happened but that makes the final result all that much sweeter! We are so excited to share with you the final reveal and the first fully completed project since we officially started this renovation journey. It is just the beginning and it's awesome to have a win under our belts, now back to the inside!!

I don't know if you're still having problems with slugs,but if so, I've seen others be successful by setting out vessels 4-5" diameter, 6-8"deep with beer in them. Bury in the garden to the rim, between the plants the slugs are eating. The beer attracts the slugs, and they fall in and drown. Voila!

Oh wow! How beautiful! It’s a great cross between rustic and formal. Not too fussy, but still classic elegance. You can both “bee” very proud of what you’ve accomplished.

That drone shot!! Beer for the snails, they die happy! OMG! on the oblisk and trellis!!! if there is any one thing (as we watchers do too much) is complain about is that you didn't put a rust resistant paint on the iron. Arachnophobic here, fast forwarded!!! 🤢 oh dang! on the garden hit, but its OK!! I get the 'not wanting to do it again' thing. I take care of my mother's rentals and it takes the life out of me!! painting and repainting, the stealing and abuse to the house... I digress sorry. Tamp the stone. 😂 Yes we're so happy the sun came out for us for the big reveal and the drone shots - it was touch and go for a minute there! To be honest, I think we'll end up coating the iron (or making new ones from scratch now that I know what I'm doing - any excuse for more welding!) - Shame, I can imagine that's no fun at all. Good on you for looking after them. And yes, next time I'm at the brico I'm picking up a tamper for the stone!

In America that's what is called "Colonial Gardening" ...since that is how the original colonists gardened to keep pests at bay & it made vegetable gardening more beautiful with the flowers mixed in. I think I may have to order their book!
