Really, like they cut a lot of content and make the story easy to understand. The cons of that is basically we lost a lot of deeper character developments and substantial lore. It's not really that confusing.😂 The only people who are mostly confused here is the people who read the LN since they are off put by the rearranging of sequence and completely skipping of events.

I didn't watch season 2. It threw away everything that mattered in season 1. While somehow putting all character development in stasis or regression. After 3 episodes, I couldn't watch any more. After watching this summary, I'm glad I did. Thanks for saving me time! I really hope these isekai writers realize that harem building does not replace character development and world building.

Overall, it's way better explanation than the anime lol. But yeah, it's summary of s2 that was botched by s3 except the three heroes fighting Dimension Wave. S3 decided to follow LN settings: Melromarc Castle and town recieved damages from Spirit Tortoise. Naofumi, Raphtalia, and Filo recieved All Sacrifice Aura buff that was helped by Demon Dragon, but they had to get rekted by 30% once the buff ends.

To be fair Only the first half of Season 2 was bad. However once you realize that the first half was essential for the second half to pay off. Second season probably would’ve been better had the first episode been a hour instead of the mere half hour episode… then again the whole season could’ve used the 21 episodes that the first season had…

Season 2 should’ve been a movie with less focus on Ost and losing powers but instead a reworked version of Kyo who used to be exactly like Naofumi in his previous life and gets treated the same way Naofumi did when he first became the hero. But unlike Naofumi, he loses his way and becomes the villain. Making Kyo a hopeless loser in both lives and a generic villain added so little to the story and wasted so much potential.

there doesn't really seem to be a rule to it, but i think l'arcs world has 7 (fan - glass, scythe - l'arc, hunting - kizuna, mirror - dead, boat - ethnobalt, book - kyou, katana - raphtalia). Im pretty sure Raphtalia gets to keep the katana, shes basically the new katana hero. It doesnt get taken away from her when she travels back to the other world, the same way L'Arc and co dont lose their weapons when they reach Naofumis world

also its weird cuz the heros are a mixture of characters from the fantasy world and regular japanese people who were isekai'd (kyou, kizuna and the four heros from naofumis world). It seems like l'arc and glass are from the fantasy world tho

When watching season 2 I was curious about this too, that is why I asked some of my friends who read the manga. If I remember correctly basically every world has (around) 4 Cardinal weapons/heroes with a set owner (meaning the owner is destined to wield the weapon). The wielders of said weapons as far as I know are always otherworlders(like Naofumi, spear, bow, hunter and sword). The vassal weapons however are always larger in number than the Cardinal weapons and the vassal weapons chose their wielders themself. The vassal wielders can be anyone so both otherworlders and (fantasy) worlders, for example Raphtalia ofcourse. So long story short the Cardinal weapons can only be used by specific people who are summonend in and the Vassal weapons can be used by anyone who is deemed worthy. Edit 1: As far as the anime is now we know of 5 Cardinal weapons and 6 Vassal weapons being: Cardinal = Shield, Sword, Spear, Bow and Hunting Tool. Vassal = Fan, Scythe, Book, Boat, Katana and Mirror

@@MrZelektronz The seven star heroes were mentioned in season 2, and some of them were heading toward the spirit tortoise, but we never met them. Keep in mind is was a political boondoggle that all four cardinal heroes were summoned in one country by Trash. There's an entire rest of the world experiencing the waves, so the seven star heroes are busy, and they're not amazingly likely to drop by the country that's already in the hands of the four cardinal heroes.
