This type of pump has a groove on the shaft for M-seal spring retaining ring. If there is no groove like this, You should measure the distance of M- seal before removing it from the shaft.

In general, Ball bearings and bronze sleeve bearings are used together for the longer shaft (e.g Fire & GS pump), Shorter shaft use only bronze sleeves bearings. In my video, the shaft bronze bearing was replaced. You may watch again between 01:50 to 02:50 minutes of this video.

5:11 u removed oil seal sir. i only know mechanical seal has 2 parts. 1) rotating 2) stationary. my question is, from where oil seal came? i dont understand 😢 sorry for my poor knowledge.

You're right. M-seal has only stationery and rotary ring. Oil seal is not a part of mechanial seal. It comes separately.
