7.62 BP isn't about fire rate, it's about cheap guns that 2 tap everyone... Fire rate doesn't mean jack when you land you first 2 rounds. Re do the whole bloody vid and put it S tier! I simply demand it!!!

When I run out of Chad gear (I’m bad at pvp) I go 590 with 8.5 magnum buck and absolutely destroy people. Nobody wants shotguns either and they are super cheap. Most firefights are happening at 50m or less anyway so shotgun rules king

I get that they want their realism but the fact that every slug for example is SO BAD compared to AP-20... Even the ks23 slug sucks...

Yeah, as it is, low penetration slugs just mechanically don't work in a game like Tarkov. Low-pen-high-damage ammo relies on delivering multiple precise hits to the same body part in quick succession to be effective, but all the available shotguns have inconsistent accuracy, massive recoil, and semi-auto fire rates at best. The whole concept, as it is currently implemented, is functionally oxymoronic.

Rip all the trash ammo that were so bad that they didn’t even make it to F tier

if you need 9x18 to work i've found success with sp8 ammo, which has armor pen of 1 but a great frag chance and bleed chance killed a poor man with a 78rnd silenced pmm with that ammo from above on his arms, shoulders n legs and he had t4 armor ;P

Love how STAR rounds are so frustratingly good that he had to F-tier it to steer away the tide pod eaters.

Saw people write RIP SNB ammo price. SNB ammo is price is grounded to traders really. You can buy some off traders and the rest you can easily craft from red gunpowder and red gunpowder crafts from blue, green and matches. So the only flea market item here is the matches and you can craft the rest from items you buy off traders and will only go cheaper if you look on the flea

Good video, Btw 7.62 BP has a 12% chance to one shot thorax, and it has a 1.3% chance to pen tier 6 armor.

Honestly .45 AP is really good on the UMP. I know everybody hates the UMP, but I promise you, take that thing into a raid and laser onto heads- the recoil is so steady and controllable you basically never miss a headshot, where with the Vektor if you line up wrong to start with, you're out of rounds instantly. I think the .45 AP in a UMP is a real sleeper. I've had amazing raids clearing Interchange with that setup. Not to mention it's DIRT cheap.

I love how the UMP feels but the wierd angling with collimators and the low accuracy is turning me off atm. If they fixed the angling with the sights then I'd totally run it.

UMP is fun but you literally can not "laser" onto anyone with it, because it has so much horizontal variance in its spray pattern,and you can not compensate for that. Doesn't mean its not a good budget gun though, it definitely is.

@@WiresIndica Thats actually impossible unless that scav had like lv5 armour, .45 AP does 70 flesh damage so literally nothing outside of lv5 or 6 armour would survive that many shots anywhere on the body. More likely you just missed a lot of those shots.

pretty good, but the SPP 9x39 is in my Opinion a "A" maybe "S" Tier, because you can craft it for like 400~ roubles / shot in your Hideout. And its pretty nuts... You drop your Enemy quick (Just my Opinion) Playing AS Val an VSS since beginning of Tarkov, just love it

@@thegunnitgamer5716 I mean this probably isn't too far from the truth. So many of the sights are janky for one reason or another. The pk-06 is popular because it's reliable. a sight tier-list might be better saved for after the optic rework Nikita said we're getting, whenever that will be.

7BT1 also has -15% recoil if im not mistaken, making it super effective for close up spray and pray with SVD's. Good on maps like interchange or rezerve if you pushing around in buildings

I got out of bed an hour early to watch this before class lol

I was wearing an Exfil helmet and a player who was hiding in a bush on shoreline ricocheted 2 rounds of 7N37 off my faceshield - such a pog ricochet chance.

Only change I’d make would be to put quakemaker higher due to the fact it can go through face shields and if you run vectors or mpxs or any other fast shooting gun you can generally get headshots on the maps with more close range fights. Plus it’s super cheap good work pest

Hey, i find some of the super low tier shotgun ammo useless... I fill a backpack with it and use it to level strength

Pest you should put these on an excel or on a spread sheet. We could then have them to review and also you could easily update your spread sheet if things change. Just a thought, great content regardless.

366eko rounds are my go to meme round. The eko rounds are like ultra budget AP rounds it can still pen lvl3 faceshields and it has 800m/s making it better for longer ranges. And give hell to all ulach users.

The 762x25 bothers me in this game because the fmj varient will pen irl class III+ armor

12:04 I ran SP10 shrimps a lot between lvl 10 and 25 simply because SP13 is prapor lvl 4. Also SP13 is sold out sometimes.

I like PBM for early wipe it punches through most armor if you mag dump early on it’s cheap and goes straight through Kiver face shields and even multi hits.

the majority of ammos i use are in S and A tier the only one i think you didnt give enough justice for was the BT ammo, i dont know if its broken atm but its cheap and ive gotten a fair few kills with it along with a fair few deaths from it

Personally think Star rounds have a reason to be in the game. Otherwise, we don't need flashbangs and smokes as well. It's just another option to be able to flash someone that isn't a throwable. I expect upcoming smoke rounds and present grenade rounds in grenade launchers to be the same. Also, that funky shotgun round for it too. Variety is the spice of life, after all. Better than having only one or two rounds per ammo type to work with for whatever reason. I do hope that higher pen/military ammo will eventually be FIR only and only in military zones with raiders guarding it. That'll make other rounds more usable.

Yes! I love running magnum buckshot all the time! Hopefully this video doesn't make them nerf it.

The t45 ammo is quite good actually, because it instantly blacks-out limbs, but the PS does not.

Funny thing: SPP actually has a really good craft that makes the rounds cost about 500 rubel. Cant increase in price because it mostly relies on trader wares. Needs prapor lvl4 though.

Alright Pest! Hit me with this new Tier list chummer. I must know what ammo is going up in price on the flea! Tbh ammo is so freakin volatile, one day BP is more expensive than BT which is more expensive than BS.. and Igolnick is same price as BS ahhhhh!! I thought AP 6.3 would be amazing but everytime I use it I can’t kill anyone in tier 5-4 armor and below.

Off the goo my dude. BT has the same pen as 56A1, and for the minor downgrade of 3-shot thorax from 2-shot thorax you can buy it for 200 slav bucks vs 700. You can magdump 60-rounders of BT without the slightest care for your wallet.

SR1MP... 70 5.45 PS rounds crafts a blue gunpowder at the workbench. Blue gunpowder trades to prapor for the SR1MP. Good pistol for a cheap workaround

SP10 just got Stirrup done for me in a single raid yesterday. It's really decent.

@Pestily Push Nikita to add CZ vz. 58 to the game, so we can finally use 7.62x39 BP at 800rpm... Amazing gun from my country, might use same attachments as AKs and finally destroy the M4/HK meta. Tarkov is in Russia, but has more M4s/HKs than whole USA... MAKE THE CZ IN THE GAME! Sincerely, Czech guy

FMJ bottomed with subsonic is the budget meta. I’m not sure why people spend 100’s of K in AP when FMJ and subsonic will still melt lvl 5 and 6 armor.

@@bigbear9182 Pretty much, yeah. I wasn't using the gun for ages coz the ap ammo was so expensive. Then I tried a couple raids with the fmj. Half a mag dumped in about a second like a laser? Doesn't matter what they wearing, it's dropping them.

tip: have the color legend on the screen above or below so we can see what the colors mean

My one big thing with the star rounds is that they count for Jaegars flashbang PMC kills task. Throwing zaryas is so god damn annoying. Star rounds provide a great alternative for that task.

Could do a tier list of loot containers.

According to battle buddy, a UMP with 45AP is will beat an AK with BT. The high flesh damage of the 45AP, will often leave the person with less HP on the torso once the ammo is broken. B tier for sure. If they add some glocks that take 45 it would probably go up to A tier.

This was made before the considerable buffs to .45 ACP right? I think the .45 offerings are on-par or even better than the 9mm variants now.

you can trade a shrimp for a lot less, you can craft 9x39 spp for about 400/bullet and sp6 for 220/bullet, 7.62 BP for 230/bullet if crafted, for 9x39BP if u lucky with market you can trade it for cigarettes, sometimes its very cheap prices sometimes drops to 250roubles/bullet, buckshots are really op but i like the ks-23 over 12g :) .45acp vektor got a bigger firerate than 9mm vektor, and .45fmj is better than 9mm pst gzh

50cal BMG isn't the worst, it had some minor benefits over ap20; higher damage, lower cost, tracers, lower recoil. I definitely isn't enough to put it above D but I'd say its close enough to atleast be put on the list.

In my opinion, 45 ap rounds are better than ap 6.3 only because they're cheaper from peacekeeper, they have higher pen, and more flesh damage. The only down side is that there are like 3 guns that use .45 acp and the only viable one is the vector. Also the .45 vector is cheaper from skier and the market :D

I generally find SNB ammo on the ground so I never exactly have a problem to find some in my stash but last time I actually bought a handful, they were 850 per round on flea market.

I didnt even pay attention this wipe, would just pick ammo up until I went to run the mosin for the quests and noticed I had like 500 Snb. Its everywhere lol

The BP 7.62x39 is not in S tier for now, that is until they add the CMMG Mutant.

i always use 856a1 and the fragmentation chance is even higher than 995 and i agree for the bp its not available soon enough to be good should be available at level 2 prapor and bt level 3 prapor

I love losing 1.5mill of gear getting flashed by the star round thru and altyn and sunglasses lmao, standing in a corner blind for 20 minutes while I get shrap 10 to the chest.

Just doesnt fit the game lol. You say that though and people assume your a sore loser but its not that. I dont even use it because I want to get into pvp, if I want kills on people not able to fight ill shoot scavs from 100m.

M62 got hardcore nerfed in December, it's not actually great anymore. Still good, but not an alternative to M61.

I been using the vpo 209 with the ecko ammo. And it pretty good. I love the vpo 209 it hit like a truck. Ecko. 366 is slept on.i have great success with it. 34 pen I think unlocked after jaeger. Great early ammo and the vpo 209 is also slept on. Can out a blazer flashlight combo with sight and sight cap with charge handle at lvl 1 with front grip I like it. It been my go to gun. Been playing about 3 weeks. It was my first kill on tagilla on offline and he went down fast to the legs. So I'm loving it now. Now I just need to kill him online

Anyone else like to load a 3-5 tracers in the mag first for a "YOU NEED TO RELOAD" indicator?

Ammo kind of needs done 3 times , new wipe, mid wipe, and late wipe. As supply and demand and armor changes

I think I'd switch AP SX and FMJ SX just cause AP SX is just slightly crappier M995 for EVEN MORE money. Ive seen AP SX as much as 3000 rub a round. And ontop of that 30 round MP7 Mags are like 60k rub a piece and 40 round mags are 100k rub a piece. The MP7 fires 150 rpm more than the M4 and 100 more than the HK. 30 round mags are 60k rub a piece and the 40 round mags are 100k a piece. If you wanna pay 220k a mag run an MP7. FMJ SX costs significantly less than M855A1 and the fire rate of the MP7 more than makes up for the penetration difference. You want 40 round mags tho? Cool 40 round Pmags for M4's are 20k a piece. and you'll fill them cheaper with better ammo. All things considered I don't even know if I'd put any MP7 ammo at S tier, A tier for sure though but AP SX will cost you an arm and leg to run.
