So how about an option for 5th gen, 2024 Prius? My Limited model has the 8 speaker JBL systeM and is pretty solid, but could use a bit more on the lower end, like a nice sub in the rear hatch.

Do you plan on having a kit for the 2023 (5th Gen) Prius? And perhaps a nice guide video like this one? The fact that JBL is only offered in the Limited trim seems like a pretty silly move from Toyota.

They don’t currently have one for jbl systems, I used to have an older version Toyota with jbl and it was so hard trying to get my sound system to work with it

My 2020 Prius Prime loses all audio after I go through a car wash. Last time it happened it dried out and I got audio back. But this time I'm not getting sound back. Where is the most likely source of water migration? Anybody know? Should I take the glove box out and look for moisture? I don't really want to pull the head out but I guess I eventually will if the sound doesn't come back. I bought this car used from Toyota a month ago. My old 2017 Prime worked perfectly regardless of car washes.

How much for an upgrade like this, please? Parts and installation.

Do you sell just the quick sync wiring harness?

if i want buy amp and harnesses only ?

Can this be installed in a 2022 Corolla Hybrid as well?

I’m going to be installing an upgraded system in my 2022 Prius XLE. I had a system in my 2019 with a 5ch, 800 watt amp. That amp was fused for 90 amps, and I never had any problems with it. But I’d sure like to know how much the electrical system in these cars can handle, before you would run into problems ?

@@Chris_Wolfgram ok. A Rockford Fosgate t400x4ad (470w rms 4ohm) Will that work in my corolla. ? 60a fuse. (Averange current draw 28amphere). Battery is only 45ah. But i think it Will work fine.

I followed this only for the groomer location. I realize afterwards I could have done it without unplugging so many wires, but I fix it just like in the video. Problem is now I have 10+ error codes, mostly for brake system failures and my car will not 'ready' for drive. Anyone experience this? I have had a few errors before and driving for 5 minutes cleared everything. This situation though, I cannot drive. It will not shift, only ignition on and error after error.

I sure you have the problem solved by now. If not, I would try disconnecting the negative (ground) battery cable. Leave it disconnected overnight. Reconnect it. You will need to re-enter some of your user preferences. One or two errors, may not go away until you drive a short distance. Please let us know how things went for you.

You need an amp to power the sub Prius stock amp won’t do the job
