Wow another fantastic video from absolutely the best channel on KZread. If your a service company covering a service area of citys and dont have a location that customer visit how do you list yourself on the citations for the nap if you don't want a address list because your a service company. Thank you! I'm glad you like it :) Som sites where you build citations (not all) allow you to specify a service area. On the ones that don't you can just put the city. Also, have you tested the Campaigns feature on Vettted? It's a free tool that gives you access to a lot of valuable SEO data, such as competitor's backlinks, top pages, keyword rankings and a lot more :)

Fantastic course I learned a lot, but have a ton of questions..... the most important of which is / Is your money site a domain you own and host independently.... I think the answer is yes. In that case, do you have a step-by-step video re building one in something like Wordpress.

Both! There's a correlation between both properties (site and gmb listing). Citations link to your site giving it more local relevancy. Your site is associated with your GMB. It's all interconnected :)

Vasco. Really great work. I have a few questions: -Make use of everything in GMB. You have emphasized on this a lot of times. Should I use a Google website feature despite having a personal site? -You use a chrome extension for coloring at 54:31. The color marking tool. What’s that extension? -Why doesn’t GMB crush work as the way you explained? I can’t find out the secondary categories. -You mentioned rank and rent services through Konec. My question is: you’ll have to rank your website for any particular services and then overlay it for the client for the same niche. Right? Let’s say you rank for the keyword “dentist dallas.” It would only make sense to rent and overlay another dentist site. Right? Or am I missing something?

No. If you have a custom site, use it. The site google gives you is meant to be used by people that are less tech savvy / have no time to create one :;)

hey, Great course! Had a question hoping you can help :)
 I wanted to start offering GMB optimisation for businesses, and this is the course I took so I can gain the required skills. The Course was amazing but I am not sure if all the topics covered would be necessary for my service. Would you advise me to use all the skills taught in this course, or only specific ones ( if so which one ) to offer GMB optimisation for businesses I wanted to focus on GMB and help business rank higher on the google map ranking and my plan was to optimise their profiles and a lot of stuff taught in this course, but other topics like citations, maps, stuff linked with making changes within the biz website, SSL, links, social media was not something I had taught of, and I am not sure if It is even required if I want to do GMB optimisation only.

Nothing works by itself. Meaning if you just do a Google stack and wait for rankings , that won’t happen. SEO needs to have an holistic approach. You can’t single out stuff unfortunately. I think I have a video solely on that on my channeln

Whitespark tested if map embeds work and found it is useless. What is your experience with map embeds? Has only doing map embeds made a difference?

This was posted a while back tbh, some of the strategies here are a bit outdated. Honestly back in the day I used to see improvements by having a mix of citations (I listed the business literally everywhere I could like yelp, foursquare etc..as for map embeds I always saw better results to rank videos

This video is a bit old so Yelp might have changed it. That said, if the individual images have unique URLs you should be able to build links to them still :)

It's not considered duplicate content but It's not a particularly good SEO practice as well. Duplicate content is only a thing when different websites have the same content (i.e. if you're stealing content from someone else). So having the same content on the same site and just changing a couple keywords isn't considered duplicate content - so you won't be penalised by that. I hope this helps!

No, You can't verify your business's physical location without that thing. If you own a virtual or online business you can set-up your home as your business by putting some banner on your doorstep.

most of the methods are spammy like creating PBN which is strictly prohibited by google similarly mentioning citatiations and social media links (where google give a proper space for that purpose) in description in GMB also looks spammy.
