Hi Rajveer, I want to make a good career in this field. I definitely have a good clarity now. I have one question though is CDAC desd course good for a kickstart in embedded system career. I am a EEE student with good amount of knowledge in c/c++,did some projects using nodemcu,Arduino. Did a course where we develop an entire computer system from nandgates. Do you think self learning is a good choice or I need to opt for cdac course. Please reply. Sorry if it was too lengthy to read. Thanks for the amazing video u earned a subscriber. ❤️

Hi Diwakar, Thanks for the appreciation. Self learning is good but if you can go for CDAC course then it will be good as we learn more while working as a team for embedded/vlsi projects. You will be talking with various mentors , aspirants and exchanging ideas with each other so go with CDAC Course.

CN NIT Rourkela had good placement last year. Embedded Jaipur is also good. Go as per your interest and near to house

Average i don't know but some students are placed in Core vlsi companies and for core communication profiles. Their number is above 6 and CTC is 18+ mostly. And as per my discussion with one person from CN, NIT R - most of his batch mates got placement.

You should go for MSC in electronics and thereafter few companies would consider you. Also, I guess, doors for M.Tech would open.

There is still some hope, if you are good with basics of electronics with a brief course on embedded system you could still be placed as external employee in MNC.

If you are doing B.Tech in software engineering then go on software side. It would be easy and good also

How much minimum 10% required for eligible in those company like Intel ...my 10% is 63...is there any problem in that

Some companies ask for 70+ throughout like intel. May be intel changes its rule next year but at our time it asked 70+ throughout academics While some companies see only Btech / Mtech %

Hi Vikash, There are few mandatory courses from both side like Digital vlsi design & Embedded system design. In electives we have courses available from both side so if you are more inclined towards vlsi then choose vlsi subjects otherwise you can choose embedded subjects. In final year project also one can take topic from any one of both fields. So We get fundamental understanding of both domain and advance learning depends on ourselves, that we choose as elective.

Search about job openings on LinkedIn or google, and I think every job profile is in demand this year as Semiconductor industry is expanding rapidly so every type of engineer front end , backend, embedded software, embedded hardware ..... required

Bro, I knew few guys who entered vlsi after MSC in verification domain but they worked on their digital electronics and C skills and got internship first. Later they were converted to Full time. But they got it just after MSC so no gap issue was there

Actually Embedded is very vast field & Thousand of possible job tittles and domains exist here. So, If you want to know about some field in very much detailed manner 1. Find someone who is actually working there & discuss. You can use LinkedIn to do this. 2. Read articles & research papers related to the field In this way you can gather a detailed knowledge about respective field

Yes, You may apply offcampus after this much knowledge. Also, Try to grap an internship first as direct full time is quite tough. Other way can be a masters / cdac course in embedded systems

You should go for Higher study as most jobs requires graduation atleast. But there might be some private jobs allowing diploma holder but obviously they will ask to work for low salary so better to invest some more time in study.

Recession has impacted both sides but vlsi / Research sides are less impacted. Courses would increase your knowledge and there would be opportunities in future so you should not stop working on your skills due to recession. Be ready with required knowledge and skills so that you can grab the opportunity as soon as it is there!
