You don't know how helpful your videos are! I have ADHD, and something I struggle with when studying is filtering out what the high yield details. I love how you focus on only the MOST IMPORTANT details of a disease, and what the key differences are between them. Plus the quick pace, pictures, mnemonics, etc help to keep me engaged and actually retain this information much more easily. Thank you so much!
Please, please, please, make a complete review of NEPHROLOGY. I have been waiting for it for a very long time, and I really need it. Please! By the way, this video is excellent, and you have done an outstanding job as always. I watch your reviews because they are SUPER helpful for my Internal Medicine Board Review. My exam is in 2 months.

This video helped me a lot! I could barely answer any heme onc questions correctly but after watching and making flashcards as I went along, I was getting above average percent correct on question blocks!

You can email me if you'd like - I can send the old video. Just don't focus on hypertension screening. I made a mistake with that slide. It probably won't be tested anyway. AJmonics@gmail.com

Hello, in question 724, should it not be "Aplastic Crisis" instead of "Aplastic Anemia"? Thank you for all you do 🙌

You are correct, but I guess aplastic crisis is like an emergency acute form of aplastic anemia

First, thank you for all the effort and content; big fan. Second, on Q710 you stated "NO" neuro dysfunction in HUS. Pub Med and other resources list several severe neurological complications. Can you clarify?
@AJmonics
18 күн бұрын
I think that's one of the differentiating factors between HUS and TTP. HUS can have neurologic symptoms - like any other systemic illness, but it's not a defining feature, hence, not in the triad; so for exam purposes, HUS has no neurologic symptoms, TTP does. Make sense?

Sir , my father is 77 years old. He is diabetic . His CABG was done in 2015. My fathers CBC showed a drop of haemoglobin to 10.4. He started iron supplement Fefolvit and it increases to 11.7 . But when he quit iron supplements it decreased again to 10.4 . Now after irons supplements it's 11.4. He doesn't have any symptoms. What could be the cause ? His renal and liver function tests are normal . He has an old problem of constipation which has become better with duphalac. He does have diarrhea and constipation once in 2 months and fixedls with medication . Plz guide madam. Regards ,
