Great class... I have a question,which type of litter specifically are u referring?? And is sawdust advisable!?? It's very light plus it can also mix with the particles in the air in places where ventilation is not controlled..what would u say to this..

I have finished creating the broiler farm tour series and overall there are 7 episodes. In episode 6 I have specifically talked about litter materials and management which will go online on Nov 28. Overall a good litter should be light, non toxic, moisture absorbent. In my opinion, pine shavings are one of the good bedding materials. Sawdust is also a good source for litter. By the way, ventilation topic is in episode 4 which will go online tomorrow.
