This is definitely a good guide for new players but could you make some more advanced one for people who already know good piece control, and some advanced retakes

Thank u so much for this vid Jivan, i just got back into fortnite with the release of og fortnite after leaving back in ch 1 season 8 and found your other videos for beginners but they were a bit too advanced. This video is absolutely amazing and I will definitely be using all of the tips u gave!! GREAT VIDEO!!

This is by far the best video I've seen for teaching newer players. I haven't played since season 8 chapter 1 and every guide ive watched over the past week has confused me alot. This was very well explained so thank you very much.

A really important thing for beginners: when placing a wall from after shooting from the same layer look DOWN for the wall to place nesr you and not further away. BUT, when placing a wall after shooting from a layer below your enemy, make sure to look UP fot the wall toplace correctly, try get that in your mind, and practice it for muscle memory

same with ramps, if you tunnel, try look up or down to place a ramp behind you, insted of in front of you

the sway retake is the best thing I have ever decided on practicing, it just has so many variations ur enemy doesn't even know what happens and you have height if used correctly. Worth learning fr

With the 'Sway retake', I'd suggest doing the double ramps first if the enemy is above or behind you as you can place both ramps before you can place your first wall.

I always thought that for me personally, it seems more logical to place both ramps an only then walls. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

Brand new player here, and this was completely over my head. I'll figure it out eventually, and hopefully this'll make more sense sooner than later. I'll have to find a good controller tutorial also, so thanks for that suggestion. Not having much luck finding helpful console beginner guides.

I use this map all the time. I’ve definitely improved. My issue is just my ping and fps. All of this I already know but might be good to go back to some basic fundamentals. Holding a wall isn’t always beneficial for me though with my ping, would you just suggest ramp your back and double box again?

Try to think of the game more fluid , instead of focusing on a double box as standard maybe try a retake and get highground and from there try to piece them .

That’s real I started in season 2 and can only do 180s and no retakes

I just started about a week ago and what keybinds do you guys reccommend? I dont have side buttons btw. And what does the x axis sensitivity and y axis sensitivity do?

could you make a video on how you get 0-10 ping?

I have this problem where when holding left mouse button to spawn builds if I switch to my ramp which is a side button on mouse while holding left click it doesn't register that I've pressed the side mouse button therefore I have to repress or hold left mouse to spawn ramps... Can't tell if it's my mouse or if it's a common mouse thing with side buttons and as a beginner I don't know if that's a huge disadvantage

if I play alot of ranked and w key people will I become a smarter/better player?
